Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.
I really wanted to like this book. I was looking forward to more twin kindred books! But this one really missed for me. The beginning was a bit ridiculous and I thought it would end when she was retrieved by the twin kindred but it continued to just go down hill.Celia was just plain dumb. Had no common sense but claimed to be smart. Yeah could have fooled me with all the bad decisions you made. Her attitude and indecision on who and what she wanted was very annoying. Also it seems to be a common theme in these books but I’m very tired of the stranded on an alien planet with a sex cult whole story- need new material . Though I will have to say the flesh eating tree was very interesting I really liked that plot but when they couldn’t even save the other girl and her brothers was terrible- that didn’t need to happen they could have exposed what was happening and had them go to they’re home planet for rehabilitation. The travel a few weeks in time through the wormhole was cool but then it just kept going down hill. I should have known it would happen because it kept hinting at it in the beginning but I would have liked it not to be true- why did she have to be pregnant- specially with that dough canoes baby. So coming to the end yay a happy ending but wait they still haven’t bonded- finally they are getting to that and it just felt lack luster, after everything I skipped through that and…..the end—happy ending but it didn’t feel like a happy ending- disappointed and wish I could just take back the hours I spent reading.
This was my first venture into the world of the Kindred, this book was on my recommendations on kindle and as I was looking for a Christmas themed book I decided to get it after downloading a sample which had me dying to know what happens next.
I think this book can be read as a standalone, it may help to read the previous books in the series first so you know who is, I don’t think this is strictly necessary. Celia our female protagonist has been having strange dreams which she can’t quite remember which has left her feeling unsettled, Celia is shortly to be married to her fiancé Peter Thurlow heir to the Thurlow empire in a Christmas wedding after a whirlwind romance (he and his family are utterly deplorable and how they treat Celia is disgustingly but it’s a credit to the author’s writing that she makes you care. Enter our male protagonists twin kindred Holds Tightly (light kindred) and Fights Fiercely (dark kindred), who have come to claim Celia as their bride and take her to the kindred mothership after dream sharing with her for months.
Celia is in the middle of cooking dinner for Peter’s ungrateful and rather stuck up family when Holds and Fierce arrive, in order to keep the peace she does with them but is determined to keep them at arms length, whilst they are determined to woo her and convince her to accept them. What follows is an enjoyable journey as Celia, Holds and Fierce travel to the blood kindred world to collect a special type of moss that glows red and green to decorate the kindred mothership in time for Christmas. After a blip travelling through a wormhole on the way home and they somehow end up on a world with a rather sinister cult, whilst all of this is going on Celia almost instantaneously bonds with Holds and fights no end with Fierce. Some of their arguments had me in stitches as they were like chalk and cheese.
A rather enjoyable steamy Christmas romance, would highly recommend.
Many Christmas stories in the U.S. about Christmas presents vary from commercial to family sacrifices and finding that perfect gift. Celia, a bride-to-be due to be married to wealthy Peter on Christmas Eve, meets Kindred Warriors Holds Tightly and Fights Fiercely (Hold and Fierce), who take her to the Mother Ship. There she meets all the Kindred from the early books and volunteers to help gather a special glowing moss to decorate the Ship for Christmas. But, Evangeline Anderson doesn’t write novels that are simple. Don’t expect the “let’s get the moss and bring it back no problem” story. Instead, expect the troubled “out of the frying pan into the fire” plot with all the steamy, hot scenes and the angst-filled scenes as well. This BOTK 31 seems to have more intensity, more steam, and more angst than some of her others. I found myself staying up reading later and later past midnight! Unwrapped is definitely a keeper!
I am liking this book so far, sometimes in my head I what to change both name's of kindered warriors around d and let the brother 's swap name's, if you 👀 what I mean .😀 Maybe in next book Evangeline should included a diary that the bride written about 📚her impressions and sex dreams too and desires.😀I would like to read more books 📚about the mosterums, I miss the books. I still fancy a book about 📚twin kindered warriors and twin brides, I enjoyed watching twin love 💘on freeview and learned lots about twin girls and boys.. Maybe Evangeline might like to learn some new idea 💡s, for books 📚. I enjoyed reading 📚 chapters 18,19,20,21,22 very much, I was smiling 😃has I read the chapters with own impressions of being in love 💘and liked reading about 📚the cat like a lady impressions. I loved reading 📚about the love 💘scences that Evangeline had written. I liked idea 💡that you where asking your fan's of your books 📚new idea's for you new books 📚 which I had just a Facebook idea's 💡with, I mixed feelings about chapter 23 but liked what Evangeline had written down over all the questions and with no answers and with yes answers too if you see 👀what I mean. I didn't like the charters in Jocoast Twelve or in Jocoast Prime at all. I liked chapter 46 very much, I liked everything about the chapter.
Always a fun sizzling read from this author. Celia is supposed to be getting married only due to circumstances she finds herself whisked away to the Kindred ship. Holds Tightly and Fights Fiercely are twin light and dark warriors so much share a woman to complete their bonding and Celia is having none of that. A mission has them blasting through a wormhole in space and coming out with a damaged ship in an unknown place. Their adventure begins on a planet that is so different from their own. I always know to expect the unexpected and even when it appears to be going one way something new happens. I loved the ending and can't wait for the next story.
When a human woman gets visited by twin Kindred Warriors who say they have come to claim their bride, Celia reluctantly agrees to go even though she is engaged to a rich bachelor named Peter. It seems Peter forgot to take her name off the bridal registry for the Kindred warriors when they got engaged, so legally she felt it was only the right thing to do and it would only be a couple of days and she would be back to be with Peter. Not knowing the Goddess had other plans. Full of adventure, danger, strange creatures, betrayal, secrets and lots of sexual encounters. What a great story!
This is a great holiday installment of the Brides of the Kindred with two, that's right, two hot Kindred warriors that love to worship their mate. Celia is engaged to get married when the twins come knocking for her to claim her as their own. This is another tale that will take us across the galaxy in a hot and steamy adventure, and let me tell you that these 3 together are pretty hot!!! So, get some hot cocoa, curl up with a blanket and give yourself the gift of Evangeline Anderson.
O boy what can I say this was one of her greatest book I was so in grossed in it .unwrapped when Celia is called to be a bride she knew it had to be a mistake she was ingaged to married Peter but how wronge she was hold tight and fights fiercely made sure she new how wrong that was but she wasn’t going to cheat on Peter, it was a very great book I just loved it I will read it again .
A little thrown off with this one. Love the plot and how it all came together, however, another adventure to both planets might be a thought. Would be fun to find out more about the tree and the whole goings on there, as well as the "unstable wormhole" they both seemed like they could benefit from more exploration. Maybe with one of the hybrid Kindred.......
A human woman who went through a dozen foster homes growing up and only wanting someone to love her. Kindred twins who have been dream sharing with her for months come to claim her. You will have to read the book to find out what all happens in their journey. Will she chose them or a human male?
I'm basically giving up on this one - it's pretty long and really all that's happening is the main character is engaged to some lame guy for no reason, and her fated mates are trying to get her to choose them - and most of the book are really just sex scenes. I don't mind them but it is overdone in this book and doesn't add much to the overall story.
Now this is my kind of Christmas book.. These two guys are very hot!! She is one lucky lady.. Playing truth or dare and massages yes please! Action and adventure plus very sexy kindred warriors what more could you ask for?! Highly recommend this book!!
This is an amazing! I’ve been waiting for another twin kindred story, and this was the perfect addition. You will be on the edge of the page with every word you read. Don’t miss out.
Well, when you get to book 70 in a series, you know the formula. Resistant bride. Ends up in a forced proximity situation. They are in a foreign planet with crazy sexual practices. And they have to follow suit or die.
And don’t forget the lazy writing. Why worry about making the story make sense when the “goddess” can just show up at any time and tell our main characters what to do and where to go?
What is different about this one? Incest and kinda beastiality. (Half man/half animal) I don’t find these things “hot” nor do I agree with the heroine that is is not cheating if she doesn’t cum. That is ridiculous.
Every book I swear this will be my last. But probably not.
The amount of times I read "dios", was cringy. Will be back after finishing it. Edit: err, uhh, ohh, ehmm madre de dios, dios. The whole book through. Celia is my least favorite main lead in all the books.

I love the Kindred bride series this one was exciting and suspenseful to the very end. It was hard to put down. Loved the twins and female they chose as their bride.
Celia is engaged to a pale, tiny(ahem), whiney spoiled man. After a world wind courtship that had me suspicious of his motives pretty early on. NOT because of Celia. She was a gorgeous woman. No, it was because of how he and his family treated her. Turns out my instinct was correct, but I'll let the reader find out why themselves. Hold and Fierce are Kindred brothers, told by The Goddess that Celia was theirs, they dream shared with her. To say it was smooth sailing the whole way would be a lie. However, their differences and arguments...between Fierce and Celia, added lots of spice to the story. Hold and Celia's interactions are just as hot and together they all set the pages on fire! I truly enjoyed every word in this book. I may have texted Ms. Anderson few times over what was happening as I read it....ok 5 times..lol I highly recommend this book. Steamy at its finest.
Celia has lived a less than desirable life so when Peter, who is wealthy proposes within weeks after they met, she finally feels wanted. While preparing Thanksgiving dinner for her future family, a pair of twin Kindred come knocking saying that they are calling her as their mate. She goes willingly to the Mother Ship to rectify the situation only to end up going on a mission with Hold and Fierce to find a special moss to decorate the ship for Christmas. Things go sideways and the trio ends up in unchartered territory while agreeing to join the "sisterhood" on a strange planet in exchange for repairs to their ship. Will Celia, Hold and Fierce survive to escape before an unexpected horrific occurrence forever keeps them prisoner? Many twists and life changing events lead to an unforgettable conclusion. Great holiday story! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.
As always the Kindred series never disappoint. This was definitely a great addition to the series just in time to get everyone in the holidays spirit. With it's many twists and turns and life changing events that leads to an unforgettable conclusion. But don't just take my word for it check it out for yourself believe me you won't regret it. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily. No monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are completely my own.
Wow, this is just in time to get you in the holiday spirit. Many twists and life changing events lead to an unforgettable conclusion. As always the kindred universe doesn't disappoint, a very spicy holiday story just in time for Christmas. I highly recommend a read. Brilliant holiday story! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.
A holiday themed sci-fi romance. Celia is a hard working young woman. She has found the love of her life and is getting married on Christmas Eve. But when a set of twin kindred come knocking she will be forced to rethink herself and her life. A wild adventure awaits her that will change everything. The story has several spicy moments and romance. The adventure is exciting and dangerous.
So no one is gonna talk about Sess’ely and her brothers? Like there was no need for them to be related. Also, a Cuban wouldn't curse like that... Mexican Spanish is not Cuban Spanish.
I don't know why I continue to read this series...
