Magnus has been focused on his present, the loops and time shifts behind him, but that is not all in the past. There is also a throne that must be held, a historic event that must be protected, and a kingdom that needs him to rule. From the shores of modern day Amelia Island to Scotland's medieval age, from his family in 17th century Balloch castle to his mother holding his kingdom in Riaghalbane for his son, Magnus must once again draw his sword to battle for those he loves and has promised to protect. This is Book 19 of the Kaitlyn and the Highlander series, a love story that encompasses all time. It's a contemporary romance with a dash of history and a bit of SciFi — the series must begin with book 1.
The time travelers are at again in this story Lochinvar meets and falls in love with a woman who works at the near by saloon. In the story she us kidnapped and taken k the thirteenth century. The families get together and form a rescue, its a fun read, loving and exciting. I hope there will be another book so that we found out a out the two young lovers. I recommend it to you with a 5 Stars review
As with the other 18 in this series, this book is filled with excitement and surprises. I was a little disappointed in that family interaction seemed to take more time than actual travel. The rescue scene fell a little flat. But. I still gave it 5 stars. We readers of this series are so invested in these characters we greedily await each book. The author does an exceptional job of leaving us hanging ,in essence, until the next book!
Not much that I haven't said before. The saddest words ever written "The End." They're so disappointing. If you didn't know, this is book 19. Start at the beginning. Finish book 1 BEFORE giving up ir writinga review on it. Everyone changes. Many readers hated Kaitlyn on book one. Not me but some from whatvthey say in reviews. But she grows/matures greatly in subsequent books. Give them a chance. She is a petty childish girl in the first book. But she doesn't stay that way. Though I think she's hysterical. Still my favorite series. And so are the 2 other series based on these books but totally different stories.
I love this series! Long Live King Magus/Mag Mor! Hope he is King until he’s 100years old! His son, Archie shouldn’t have to worry about his Da. It was so sad the nightmares he was having. I hope Ash finally realizes she’s pregnant and tells Lochie, and they realize that’s why she was snatched. They will need to finally defeat asshat Asgall before he tries to come after them again. That murdering false, wannabe King has killed too many people. They also need to find out about allll that property he probably stole. Just waiting for #20.
Lochinvar has been one of my favorite characters ever since he was introduced in this series and I’m over the moon with happiness that he has found his own true love. Can’t wait to see how truly Ash copes with, and adds to the adventures of the clan. Archie’s storyline had me stressed but alls well that ends well. New love, new bairn, new chicken, lol. Mag Mor is now in the 13th century and a new adventure begins. Long live the King!!!
As you read the story of Magnus and his family throughout the journey of 19 books, you get the feeling like you are part of their family. Through the good times and bad you hang on each word to see what will happen next. Start from the beginning and join the family.
I love the story of Katie and Magnus. From their first date until the final The End, Diana keeps me entertained. I love the addition of Ash and how her love made Lochie go from a boy who loves fighting and cookies to a man, fierce and protective. I’m ready for # 20 !!
Every time I finish the next KATH book, I start to hope for another. I soooo hope there will be a Book 20 and many more! Thanks, Diana, for your brilliance in bringing the love, life and adventures of Kaitlyn & Magnus into my world! And to anyone wondering if they should start this series...a resounding YES! You'll love every word!
This book did not disappoint. It was well written and the flow of the story was perfect. I loved the prologues as the gave a brief reminder of the previous events. I am already looking forward to the next book.
Diana once again thank you for this family and these stories. You take your readers through all the emotions and create characters we can identify with. Awesome! Can’t wait for #20!!!
I LOVED IT! It was a wonderful continuation of the Kaitlyn and the Highlander series. It had all the feels: love, anxiety, fear, humor (I love Diana Knightley’s sense of humor), and happiness. Would highly recommend after reading books 1-18 of the series.
I don’t remember why I read the first book in this series. Thank goodness there were already 15 books published so I didn’t have to wait. I binged read them. Now I look forward to each one. You will love Diana’s characters and her imagination.
When's the next book coming out. I have read y Them all. Now u have included a mate for Locinvar and that should give more to write. They don't know she is pregnant yet. So much more to write. Love the books.
This story is even better than the last, I love the adventures of Magnus and Kaitlyn and the gang. They keep getting better. The families are growing! I can't wait for the next adventure! Thank you, Diana!
Lochie has a lass! There is love, laughter, excitement, peril, and determination, but the one thing constant is family. Always coming together again, being there for each other.
I can’t imagine my life without this cast of characters. I can’t accurately explain how real and richly they are written. I’ve read 1000’s of books and there is nothing else like it. It’s our genius.
It is 6:24 in the morning. I have been reading this wonderful story since yesterday. I can barely keep my eyes open, but it was sooo worth it. Good night/morning.
I’m so happy that this time Kaitlyn and Magnus aren’t separated by an evil person. I’m sure we’ll hear more from Asgall. Hopefully, he’ll pay for his crimes.
It is like a visit with old friends. Love seeing and visiting with all the characters. The story was awesome. Can’t wait to read what is in store next.
