Oh my gosh!!! I just loved this book. I think a Christmas Carol, in some form or another, has been written about so much but this was one of the better ones, if not the best. The combination of mystery, magic, Christmas and a Christmas Carol was just brilliant. I couldn't put it down. It was that captivating and I read it all in one go. I loved the way Evie used the three ghosts to solve the murder and make up her mind about a big decision. It was also fun using much beloved characters as the ghosts, with this fun series the presents of the three ghost made perfect sense. Even snowed in at the manor all my favourite characters still managed to put in an appearance, some in creative and unusual ways.I had no idea who the killer was and I think I suspected everybody at one point of another. Well done for hiding the clues and giving everybody a motive, I didn't see the surprise or explanation coming. I hope this author keeps the magic coming for a long time.
The manor is holding its first event and even though it means working on Christmas eve, a local jam-making company had hired the entire Tudor wing for their office Christmas party and Evie wants them to have a jolly time. Unfortunately the English weather isn't cooperating and only a handful of employees make it before the road is closed. Then during a power cut the owner is killed. Can Evie and Alex find the killer before the show melts and all there suspects leave? Every body seems to have a motive and a secret to keep and Evie will need help from three very special ghost if she hopes to find the killer and make a big decision in her life. Especially if she doesn't want to meet a sticky end.
I was given this free review copy book at my request and have voluntary left this review.

Another wonderful read! Evelyn has hired out the Manor for a works party, but, due to heavy snow hardly anyone was there. The lights go out & a murder is committed. Behind this story is the question “Should Evelyn go to the job offered her in London”? Then Evelyn is visited by ghosts from the past, present & future which help her immensely. The murderer is captured & her & Alex’s future is decided.

Wand-erful Christmas by author Rosie Reed is a cute title for this fast-paced, cozy mystery filled with Christmas cheer, magic and magical beings, ghosts, mayhem, murder, romance, and so much more. I loved returning to An English Village Witch Cozy series and all the familiar characters.

It was great to be reacquainted with characters we’ve met before—especially Evie, Alex, Leia, and Luke—and seeing how their lives and loves are progressing was heartwarming. There are vivid descriptions of locations, snow, the murder scene, food, decorations, and the village that made me feel like I was there. I liked the camaraderie of the characters and how they were there to support one another. The animals were an added bonus.

Evie being visited by the three ghosts of Christmas was reminiscent of A Christmas Carol, which tested her memory, generosity, and fear of her demise. Seeing who transported her to the three Christmases was fun but also held danger and anxiety. There was even a visit by Father Christmas.

The story flowed nicely and held my interest from the first page to the last. As always, there was a murder to solve, and Evie is again in the thick of things. She is an amateur sleuth as well as a witch in training, and she’s always where she’s not supposed to be! Just ask her boyfriend and Deputy Inspector, Alex! The story has twists and turns, along with multiple suspects and red herrings. There is closure in solving the crimes, but I felt there were some loose ends.

Wand-erful Christmas is a cozy mystery with magic, mayhem, and a dash of romance. Sit in front of the fire with a nice cuppa tea and a mince pie, and snuggle under a blanket to see whodunnit!

I'm really enjoying this excellent series, and this Christmas-themed book was one of the best yet!

This time, Evie has rented out part of the Locksleigh mansion to a jam-making company for a Christmas Eve staff party - but, as expected in the life of Evie, things don't go quite the way they should - and it's not long before a mysterious murder takes place at the snowbound mansion.
This means the killer is also trapped at the house, along with the party guests and Evie's companions - making this an even more dangerous task for Evie's sleuthing skills.

As if this wasn't enough for Evie, there's also a subplot concerning a job offer she's received which would mean that she would have to relocate to London - she's been head-hunted to tackle the Beings of Evil no less!
And, also added to the mix are three Christmas ghosts - with echoes of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' for Evie to tackle.

This was such a well-plotted and fun book that keeps you guessing right to the end. I loved how the above three things all intertwine too into the story, and how it all contributes to what happens at the end.
I loved the jam-making conspiracy too, which was such a lovely idea, and very English too.

This is the perfect cozy mystery to curl up with at Christmas - def add it to your festive list!

Another great book, this series is a easy read to pick up between books. I did read the most of the books back to back and after a while all the murder can be a bit much. Book 7 & 8 were not my favorite and I struggled a bit but it could of been from just reading all the books back to back.

I was hoping Alex would propose at the end of this book, but maybe too much since Luke just got engaged. Cant wait for the next one.

PS love the ghost watching tv. Hope we see more of them

This is a delightful cozy Christmas mystery. Has many different leads, some magic and a take from the Christmas Carol with visits from 3 ghosts. Add some romance and it is a winner.
