David Miller, a war-scarred veteran grappling with PTSD, makes a startling discovery—his traumatic flashbacks are gateways to time travel. Recruited by the shadowy Fallen Arrow, David undergoes a surreal transformation into a time agent, wielding a unique power triggered by "The Lullaby." His mission: apprehending a rogue soldier wreaking havoc throughout history. As David navigates a secret war for time-altering technology, he must safeguard his newfound abilities from rival factions.
Time Travel isn’t exactly an idea or theme that super excites me, but I am intrigued by different author’s take on the subject matter & how it’s handled. Notably I’m more familiar with Hunter Blain’s take on it in the Chronos Paradox series I believe it is. I don’t entirely understand it much better, but in his series, there’s a sarcastic dog Tim in it. I digress though. This definitely is another interesting & worthwhile take on Time Travel/Time Jumping, etc. I will say this without giving away any spoilers, the initial topic in this one seems a bit more realistic “all things considered”
A solid full-cast, sound enhanced production starring David Miller, a former soldier (played by Ariyon Bakare) taken in by a secret British research group. Their goal? Time travel using memories connected with sound. It's a fast-paced narrative full of double agents, betrayals and redemptions, and ethical questions about mucking about with the timeline. The final minutes tease out a possible sequel, which I will definitely keep an ear out for.
