Dogs and humans have been so closely linked for so many thousands of years, that some experts believe we may have evolved together. Whether or not this proves to be so, it is certainly true that, for better or worse, our interdependence cannot be untangled. On one level of existence we are meant to be together.

Another book written by Libby Hall, a former press photographer in London who began a collection of photos that were headed for the trash bin of a local junk shop. Some of the pictures are funny, some are heartwarming, some are just downright odd, but all are adorable. So sit back and let this second batch of pictures put a smile on your face. :)

I absolutely love these books - vintage people, vintage dogs! I've heard that people coddle their dogs more than they used to, but these photos show people have always loved their dogs, and vice versa. There's so much expression and vividness in here. Perfect for the dog-loving history fan.
