Catherine turned down Adam two years ago. Now he's back and unbeknownst to her, he is investigating her father for involvement in smuggling. The electricity between them is liable to burn them, as they push and pull against their true feelings. Her bravery puts her in danger. His secrecy causes her distrust. Plenty of fabulous twists and turns. This is a thoroughly enjoyable story.
