Seriously silly! Some laugh out loud, some chuckle-worthy, some smiles and nods, all relatable in each of these rhyming poems for kids. Sections titled "Poems that moved into the house across the street," Poems that followed me home," Poems that won't behave properly at a party," Poems that hide in my closet at night," and "Poems I found stuck underneath my desk" pique curiosity and make the reader want to dive right in. In addition to his poetry, Ode has enhanced the pages with his original drawings. Great for anytime you and your kids need a laugh break.

A friend sent this to me and it is great, full of fun for sharing with students or your own children. Eric Ode shares sixty of his favorite poems and adds his own illustrations on each double page. Each one brings a laugh and often a thought! What would happen to that elephant in your bathtub, and for eleven days? Wrinkles, of course!
