The Zodiac Court Series #1

Wrath of the Stars

Rate this book
"When King Andromedus comes--and I pray he does--I will end his life and I will end his reign."

With elements of Greek mythology and astrology woven together, this story follows Princess Libra, fourth born daughter of Queen Cancer and King Capricorn and Defender of the Zodiac. She was chosen by the Elder to be next leader of the Milky Way galaxy when she was just a child. She was promised a peaceful, prosperous reign, though everything changes when King Andromedus, a powerful warmonger known for murdering monarchs and conquering galaxies, demands to marry Libra.

Knowing that he plans to murder her and take her galaxy, Libra decides that a rushed marriage before Andromedus arrives is the only way to save her life. Ever the strategist, Libra strikes a deal with the notorious rake, Lord Orion, in which she promises that Orion can kill Andromedus and avenge the murder of his wife and child if he marries her. Orion jumps at the opportunity for revenge and the pair enter into a marriage of convenience.

Insulted and hell bent on punishing Libra for denying him, Andromedus declares war. As war moves through the Milky Way, Libra finds that it’s not just her life that she must protect, but her heart as well. What started off as a loveless marriage to Orion turns into something more, something both terrifying and exciting, igniting a feeling within Libra that she was always taught to ignore. She knows that the galaxy must always come first, before her feelings, before any one star, and still Orion finds a way to creep into her thoughts. Fighting the war and battling her mounting desire, Libra must be decisive on the battlefield and in her relationship in order to keep her life.

For fans of Sarah J Maas and Scarlett St. Clair, this is the first book in the Zodiac Court series.

A huge thank you to Naomi Mitchell for picking me to be an ARC reader for her debut novel, Wrath of the Stars!

This book follows Libra, crown princess of the Milky Way galaxy, and her rise to becoming a confident leader in her own right. With a hint of enemies-to-lovers and a marriage of convenience, we get sprinklings of spice, especially towards the end of the story.

There's the spicy scenes, sword fights, political intrigue, and some pretty spectacular world-building. The writing was a little clunky at times, and some plot points felt a little rushed or revisited too often. And of course, as is true with most novels with a romance plot or subplot, a good dash of miscommunication. Not my favorite trope, but a good standby.

Overall, I think the world-building and premise kept me coming back for more. It wasn't a book that I just *couldn't put down,* but I also kept coming back to it. I think the novel has definite series potential! Definitely worth reading.

This is a fantasy world with an astrology-based universe. Libra, the heir to her family's throne, is horrified to discover that she has been suddenly promised to the brutal King Andromedus, termed the Galaxy Eater. Circumstances shift and Libra marries the rakish Lord Orion instead. The two must navigate political intrigue, impending war, and newfound dangerous powers.

One of the standout aspects of this for me was the world-building. The unique aspects of the celestial world immediately drew me in. Libra is a powerful main character; she is uncompromising, fearless, and deeply flawed in a way that feels authentic. I especially appreciated how the story allowed her to embrace her emotions fully, something that is often denied to black women. She reminds me a bit of Ikenna from The Blood Trials, a character I absolutely adored.

The dynamic between Libra and King Andromedus was intense. Andromedus, with his ruthless ambition and malevolent presence, brought an ongoing sense of danger and tension that kept me on edge. The cat-and-mouse game between them was thrilling, and I loved how he continued to be a formidable force throughout the book, never losing his menace.

Orion, on the other hand, is a very complex character. Forced into a marriage with Libra while still mourning his late wife and child, his inner conflict added an interesting layer to their relationship. Their evolving relationship, born out of necessity and tinged with unexpected emotions, provided a strong emotional core to the plot.

However, despite the strengths, I did feel the story lacked something in its exploration of magic. The concept was intriguing, but I wanted more depth and elaboration on how the magic system worked within this universe. Additionally, the ending left me quite unsatisfied. After all the tension and buildup, the resolution felt too abrupt and easy, which was a letdown considering how well the stakes had been established earlier on.

Overall, a solid debut with a fascinating premise and a strong, flawed heroine at its center. It’s a book with a lot of promise, and while it has some shortcomings, it’s definitely a series I’ll be keeping an eye on.

"watching orion now, i can't imagine a world in which he does not exist."

"Wrath of the Stars" by author Naomi Mitchell is a captivating debut novel that delves into the life of Princess Libra, born to the illustrious Defender of the Galaxy, King Capricorn and Queen Cancer. Despite being the fourth-born and a daughter, Libra is chosen by the Elder to lead the Milky Way Galaxy. However, her destiny takes an unexpected turn when she receives a marriage proposal from the menacing Galaxy Eater, King Andromedus. Faced with a perilous choice, Libra devises a daring plan to marry Lord Orion, offering him and alliance and the opportunity to avenge the murder of his late wife and child by killing King Andromedus. The story unfolds as Libra grapples with the challenges of maintaining a facade of a convenient marriage while confronting the impending war declared by King Andromedus and taking care of the people she loves the most. Caught between her duty as a queen and the blossoming romantic feelings for her fake husband, Libra's journey is a compelling blend of intrigue, strategy, and the complexities of love in the face of adversity.

the plot:
The world building is what kept me so intrigued with the story. I found myself waiting for any free minute in a day so I can pick up the book again. The action isn't gory or graphic but kept me intrigued enough to have me wanting more. The author did a wonderful job balancing the action and worldbuilding scenes with any romance scene. There wasn't a moment where I felt bored of what's going on or even confused.

the characters:
I commented this on one of the author's TikTok but I'll quote it again, "... I'm blushing every time he (Lord Orion) speaks because there's nothing better than a man who is sweet but a little mean at the same time". And I stand by that comment! Lord Orion may complain about tending to his fake wife and call her a spoiled princess but he'll still end up in the kitchen cooking for her. This man had me blushing and calling him a sweet little baby in my head even though he can be a feisty one as well. He is not afraid to put someone (especially Libra) in their place but deep down inside he is a total romantic and I was LIVING for it..

"and you want me to get it, don't you?"

i bat my doe eyes at him. "it was perfect the last time you brought it up."

"wait here." he leaves, grumbling something about me being spoiled. of course he would.

Princess Libra on the other hand made me furious numerous times. As powerful as she is, she seems to be a lot more selfish as she claims to be. There were many and I mean MANY moments where her decision making made me want to shake and yell at her. And because of her lack of decision making skills, it seems to always backfire on her and she also seems to struggle with dealing with the consequences of it. But as frustrated as I got with her, I also felt for her heavily. I think Libra having all these flaws and emotions made her feel more real to me. Not saying that I can relate to being a crown princess to the Milky Way Galaxy, but it definitely made me feel like I can connect to her more.

"i am queen. you cannot stop me from doing anything."

honorable mentions:
〰 Polaris and the Elder stuck out to me so much. Polaris kind of brought some comedy to the story in subtle ways. The Elder on the other hand was the complete opposite. It's like the second I see her name on the page, I just know something serious is about to happen.
〰 Ara, Vela, and Draco has my heart completely. The three are the most loyal and supportive friends anyone could ever have. The way all three are willingly to do just about anything for Princess Libra made me feel like there's hope at the end of the road and I just know that's what she felt. When Libra needed space they gave it to her but the second something feels off, they're all coming in faster than the speed of light to make sure they're okay. The little moments where Libra is reminiscing their childhood memories and traditions made me tear up.

a deep longing pulls at my heart from the memory and i wish i could somehow go back in time to the soft, easy life i lived.

overall and additional comments
I give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
〰 Although I enjoyed the story, there were moments where I felt like things were missing from the plot. There were moments where I felt the author was focused on world building that the lead up in the plot got lost along the way.
〰 I wish we got to see the relationship build up between Libra and Orion more. Their love story felt rushed and it we didn't get enough time to connect to it. But I did enjoy the bickering between the two lol
〰 Despite everything, I am hoping to see another book continuing their story. I feel like there's still so much left to see and I am curious about their future.

A huge thank you to the author, Naomi Mitchell, for providing this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Zodiac stars, multiple galaxies, marriage of convenience, enemy called The Galaxy Eater, fight scenes, and some spicy scenes🌶️🌶️⚔️🪐💫🌌

I knew immediately when I heard the words marriage of convenience and galaxy eater that I needed to read this book. The author brought me to a whole new world or in this instance a whole new galaxy filled with characters born as stars and zodiacs. Her world building and character development was beautiful and unique. Princess Libra as our MFC is very smart, responsible, passionate, stubborn, opinionated, calculating, and above all a woman who wished to experience a real connection even amongst the chaos. Lord Orion as our MMC is a strong fighter, resilient, stubborn, troubled by his past, grumpy sunshine, and deep down very caring and emotional. The Galaxy Eater, King Andromedus, is ruthless, cunning, evil, and one you wish would have karma coming his way. There is so much to these characters and this world that brings in the elements of astrology, magic, adventure, war, family, and love. I hope to see more from this power duo and what their future holds! Thank you to the author for allowing me to be a part of her journey, characters, and world🖤💜💙

Feels rushed and the idea seemed great but there is little about the concept of the horoscopes their personalities or powers. It felt like a cheesy toxic melodrama written as love.

The character was all over the place and acted like she was 12 not centuries old.

Rate 3.5/5 major potential for higher

I want to first shoutout Naomi for letting me arc read this like two weeks before release date. On that note, let's begin.

Right from the beginning I was enthralled. Nothing screams enemies to lovers like a good ol' forced marriage to the literal enemy. From the very start you can tell the FMC is very headstrong, independent, and THAT bihhhh. She is HER. King Andromedus. That's my type, that's my type. Everything an enemy/lover should be in my book. He had my attention I was up until 3am. So the plot twist on this was just wild. I held out until the very end, just HOPING.

The world building on this was great. I love books with an actual plot, and actual world building. I take pleasure in knowing how everything comes to be, not just the solution. So with that being said, it built and built and built, and at the same time the building didn't feel like it was going anywhere? & Then it felt like the plot was forgotten with all the "building."

Half way through the book is when things started to move fast but also contradict and stand still. What was a really good plot, was wrapped up in almost an instant. Anticlimactic. It was there, and then it was gone. My jaw hit the floor with the end of the plot but still. It was still too easy, and it shouldn't have been. Both powers weren't explored enough, and the consequences of hers wasn't really explained well. Those powers complimented each other, and I wish we got to see them go hand and hand more.

The love story in this? Half way through the book it was very angsty. It was very push and pull enemies to lover. Very make my chest tighten type of thing. & Then just like that, it's not enemies to lovers anymore. We got to see her pov, but it would have made sense for it to go this quickly if we saw his pov. Especially since he had things he needed to let go of. Honestly I might have been okay with how it ended minus the elder doing what she did. That seemed hasty. Overall, I did enjoy this read. I would read more from this author.

Wrath of the Stars

Wrath of the Stars started off strong, with an intriguing plot and compelling characters. I was particularly drawn to the unique concept of the characters being actual stars—something I had never encountered in a book before. The world-building was engaging at first, and I was genuinely interested in how the story would unfold.

However, as the book progressed, I found myself losing interest. By the time I reached the final chapters, I was skimming through them, ultimately just reading the conclusion. The pacing seemed to slow down, and the plot became less captivating. The biggest issue for me was with the FMC (Female Main Character). She’s presented as a strong, future queen, but her development felt inconsistent. As the story went on, she came across as immature, which was frustrating considering her supposed age and status. I had to double-check her age, only to find out she was centuries old, which felt hard to reconcile with her behavior and mindset.

Additionally, the FMC’s constant assumptions throughout the story started to feel repetitive and often incorrect, which made her seem more naive than powerful. This, in turn, made it hard to fully invest in her character or her journey. The romantic plot between the FMC and the MMC (Male Main Character) also lacked the depth I was hoping for, and I felt the potential for a more meaningful connection was underdeveloped. Furthermore, the magic system, which seemed like it could be a rich part of the story, wasn’t explored as much as it could have.

In the end, Wrath of the Stars had great potential, but it didn’t quite follow through. The beginning had me hooked, but by the end, I was left feeling disappointed. There were moments that were worth reading, but overall, it didn’t quite meet my expectations.

"Wrath of the Stars" kept me reading with anticipation - the book sucks the reader in straight from the first chapter. We are thrown into the pack of wolves as our main lead is suddenly forced into an arranged marriage - with a psychotic war maniac! Receiving no support from her family, Libra decides to look for her own solutions. After all, marrying a tyrant is not an option!

Marrying the Galaxy Eater might support the royal family and protect their subjects, but Libra's convinced: it's a death sentence. And a humiliating one, at that. She's not having any of it. The plot thickens immediately as a fallen Lord captures Libra's attention. Orion - a star to be reckoned with. As luck would have it, he's in a bit of a situation - might end up dead himself. Why not make the most of it?..

"Wrath of the Stars" offers everything a fantasy lover would expect:
- incredible world-building (but not too much detail!);
- a fast-paced plot (your head will be spinning!..);
- formidable enemies and an abundance of political/court intrigues;
- battle and war;
- romance (it's quite in the air!..);
- a bit of spice.

It has the following tropes:
- enemies to lovers (a slow burn, indeed!);
- shadow and light magic;
- arranged marriage AND forced marriage (take note - two different marriages!..)

The book will keep you on your toes, there might be a few tears too. Sometimes you will want to scream because it will be relatable and you'll get frustrated. It's a well-balanced read with a gorgeous world... full of stars. If you gaze at the night sky and wish upon a star, you'll never know - it might be a malicious one... Or, as the writer puts it - "For those who believe in making a wish on a star... the stars might be a little busy."

This was an easy and quick read. 🌶️ 2.5. If you’re new to fantasy I highly recommend starting your reading Journey with this book. The world building and character building is easy to understand and not overwhelming. All the characters are based off of astrological signs and instead of being called people they call themselves stars. Which was a really unique take on the zodiac signs. The main character Libra is Princess of The Milky Way Galaxy and she finds her galaxy threatened when her parents arrange for her to marry King Andromedus, the Galaxy Eater, who is the destroyer of all Galaxies. Libra has to find a way out of this arrangement, otherwise she and her Galaxy are dead. So, she turns to the one star who betrayed her Galaxy. Lord Orion, The Hunter, Keep of the Belt. She makes a deal with him to get him out of prison but only if he agrees to marry her. Will Libra and Orion be able to defeat the Galaxy Eater? The only way to defeat him is by trusting one other even though they despise each other. Will they be able to do it? Or will what happened in the past destroy any chance of defeating the Galaxy Eater and a chance at a happily ever after for the both of them. This story is filled with enemies to lovers, secret childhood crush, who fell first who fell harder, magic, destiny, loyalty and betrayal. If this sounds interesting and something you want to read get your copy today!!

I do not give out 5 ⭐️ lightly. This book was absolute perfection. I could not believe that this was Naomi’s debut novel. This is SO well done. The writing was excellent. The integration of the stars and galaxies was so unique and captivating. The magical system, the character development, the slow burn romance, the spice 🌶️ - it all came together perfectly. And EXCUSE ME - WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?! I was in tears, which takes a lot for me.

Synopsis:
Princess Libra, daughter of Queen Cancer and King Capricorn of the Milky Way galaxy caught the interest of King Andromedus, a powerful warmonger, who more or less demands her hand in marriage. Libra is no fool and knows that this is a scheme for more power which will likely end in her death. Seeing no other solution, Libra strategically arranges a swift marriage to Lord Orion, a warrior whose own wife and child were killed by Andromedus. Insulted and hell bent on punishing Libra for denying him, Andromedus declares war. As war moves through the Milky Way, Libra finds that it’s not just her life that she must protect, but her heart as well. Fighting the war and battling her mounting desire, Libra must be decisive on the battlefield and in her relationship in order to keep her life and save her galaxy.

This story is going to stick with me for a while. I can’t wait to see what else we get from Naomi Mitchell in the future!

Holy moly this was a ride!

This book combined two of my favorite tropes into one beautifully written book; Marriage of Convenience and Political Fantasy. To avoid a forced marriage to the Galaxy Eater, King Andromedus, Princess Libra comes to an agreement with a lord being charged for crimes he never committed to be married and go through a gifting ceremony to ensure she could not be given to another.

I absolutely LOVED Libra. I think a lot of times I see characters experience traumatic events and then maybe have some moments of sorrow but ultimately move on really quickly and immediately get back to semi normal. This book doesn’t do that. You see the ugly side of trauma. You see the anger, the depression, the guilt. All of it. She felt so real I cried. It was so well written and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Outside of just this traumatic event, she’s a very determined character. She’s willing to cross moral lines and self sacrifice if it means saving those most important to her. She’s strong but also broken and I loved how complex she was.

Orion was just as complex and just as realistic as Libra. It was so easy to hurt for him and fall in love with his character. He better get the world in the next book or I’m going to be so upset lol.

I will 100% be reading the next book in the series as soon as it is available and will reread.

There is war, death, interesting powers, love, some spicy moments, and a lot of emotions conveyed in such beautiful and tragic ways. Those last few chapters had me stressing ya'll!!!! The book wraps up everything in a shocking yet satisfying plot twist!!!

Right from the start our introduction of Libra is the moment she is told that she will marry King Andromedous who is fearsome and a true villain in this book (not in the hot way either) which is refreshing.

Libra takes her destiny into her own hands and decides what she will do to preserve her own life through a marriage of convenience of her choosing.
I love that she is strong yet also soft throughout the book.

The book was fast paced and there were a lot of moments that I was shocked by the plot twist's! I liked that the man she marries to save herself has a past of his own that we connect with him and understand why he is the way that he is.

I gave it a 4.5 because I was hoping to get a better grasp of the galaxy system. Medium to fast pace. I love Libra and Orion but damn communicate better!

✨️ARC READER REVIEW✨️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
🌶🌶🌶🌶/5

This wonderful debut by Naomi Mitchell was a breath of fresh air!

What I love about arc reading is you have no reviews to tell you if it's a good read or not so you go in with no expectations and excitement!!

This was a great read, the story was so so easy to grasp I didn't get confused once (some fantasy books so loose me a little bit).

I absolutely loved that it's set in space, the characters are stars and this royal family are named after zodiac signs!!! How cools?! Libra will be my first borns name okay!!! ❤️

My favourite tropes are enemies to lovers & arranged marriages so I lapped this up!!

And who doesn't love a romantasy with a war happening and training sessions huh?!

I do wish this book had more of the war scenes going on, but the rest of the story carried the book.

The spice level was fabulous 👌

Some of the things this man said only broke my heart 💔

Also 'broken...and still breaking' very relatable 😭😭😭

I can't wait to see what else this lovely author brings to the table in the future! Thank you for letting me be one of your ARC readers I really enjoyed myself ❤️

“What if I want you all to myself? What if I want to worship my queen?”

Wrath of the Stars by Naomi Mitchell ✨

New romantasy alert! This story brought me to a whole new world (… or should I say planet? Galaxy? You get the gist) where the characters are stars instead of humans/fae/etc.

Princess Libra is just trying to live her life when she finds out she’s being forced into an arranged marriage with “The Galaxy Eater”, who plans to marry her, breed her and then kill her for his own selfish agenda. So what does she do to save herself? She quickly marries Lord Orion, a notorious rake, to avoid marrying The Galaxy Eater. Lord Orion’s wife and kid were killed by The Galaxy Eater in the past and she promises him the revenge of being able to kill The Galaxy Eater if he agrees to marry her, thus saving herself and her galaxy. This marriage was supposed to be just a business transaction… until she starts to catch feelings for him instead.

I found this book to be very interesting! I am not a huge fantasy girlie but I do like romantasy and this one def was more romantasy imo. I did find myself wanting more of Libra and Orion’s love story but that’s the hopeless romantic in me talking. 🤪

Tropes:
✨marriage of convenience
✨enemies to lovers
✨royal court
✨astrology world

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a refreshing new romantasy read! The character names are what peaked my interest originally. Being a huge astronomy fan I loved that she used names of constellations, stars, and galaxies for the characters and must add that my favorite is the ruthless King Andromedas. (He’s not the love interest, but he’s mine. ;)) While I was reading, I could do nothing but picture the amazing setting of a galaxy ridden sky with swirls of different colors all around. I really really loved the setting building with the main settings but I wished there was a little more to learn about the other planets or cities. I also wished there was a little more war/fight scenes because I didn’t feel much “wrath” in this book. BUTTTT it’s going to be a series and I can’t wait to see where it takes Queen Libra and Orion. Loved this book! And I can’t wait for the next one!

I am a girl that loves a Romantasy DOWN & Wrath of the Stars hooked me on the first few pages easily. The marriage of convenience trope and conceptual world building was different for me in a way that was refreshing and exciting. I found myself rushing back to this story every chance I got. Libra’s strength was lovable and acknowledgeable in the first few chapters and this made me not want to put this down because I just had to know what happened with her and Orion. I am so happy I started this series as it has that little something that I was missing in my reading life. Brava Naomi Mitchell!

I saw Naomi Mitchell on BookTok and immediately knew I was going to love this story, and I was right! The worldbuilding pulled me in fast, and I got way too invested in the relationship drama. The hot/cold energy between them had me frustrated in the best way, and the miscommunication trope had me yelling at my Kindle more than once. It’s definitely a slow burn, but when it finally hits around the 60% mark, it’s worth iiiit. I thought the twists were super well done, and by the end I was in tears. Lightly spicy, emotionally loaded, and just so satisfying. I’m so happy it had a somewhat happy "ending" for a trilogy and didn’t leave it on a steep cliffhanger (because I panicked there for a second), and I can’t wait to jump straight into book two.

Thank you so much to the author, Naomi Mitchell for allowing me to be an ARC reader for an honest review.

This book follows the character we know as Princess Libra of the Milky Way galaxy. We watch as she navigates her rise in leadership, an impending war and a marriage of convenience. *wink wink* It includes more than a dash of enemies to lovers and a sprinkle of spice.

I enjoyed this book. It was fast paced and at times felt a bit rushed, however, I absolutely devoured it. There were moments I felt there was something missing in the plot, but regardless I couldn’t put it down. I’m excited to see what comes next.

SPOILERS AHEAD

This book was amazing!! I commend the author immensely. I am a huge mood reader and this book kept my interest the entire time. It was a whirlwind of emotions. From Libra refusing to admit her feelings, to then admitting them at the worst time, like girl ask that man how he escaped cause I know he wasn’t just let go! And then Orion being poisoned! I was shook! And don’t even get me started on Libra dying and then not dying. Had me panicking, but also so impressed with the writing that I could not panic that badly! All in all amazing, if I could rate in more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

I'm reading the second book now and I'm realizing I never reviewed the first. Naomi is a great storyteller. I was enthralled from the beginning. I think what I love about this book is the FMC, Libra is the star (literally!). I think romantasy books rely heavily on the MMC but in this book we really get to see how Libra moves and outsmarts her enemies. I loved the romance. It was enemies to lovers which is my favorite, but it wasn't unhealthy. This is a wild ride and a unique concept. I'm loving the second book as well!

2🌶️, open door spicy scenes. Plot heavy with spice that leads the plot forward.

One of my five star reads of 2025. I absolutely fell in love with the characters in this romantasy book about the Stars of the Milky Way. Not only does Naomi do a fantastic job of bringing the world to life but also connects you to not only the main characters but also the secondary ones. I cried, laughed, and got mad when Libra (FMC) did. This characters will stick with you far after finished reading the book.

This was a very unique story, and had some great world building. I loved the fact that the characters were stars. This story had fantasy, war, and a lot of conflict. I did have a bit of a love hate relationship with the romance aspect of this story that at times made it hard to read for me. But the fantasy part and wanting to know how it ended keep me coming back. Loved how this story ended. Loved all the main characters in this story! Can't wait to see what else she writes.

I think this romantasy book needs more people to read it! Thoroughly enjoyed this book and not your typical story line that it follows.
The discourse between Libra and Orion felt repetitive at times and wish we saw more of their growth happening. But I do think they learned together and grew throughout the book.
The war plot line didn't over power the book and flowed well with the whole story.

I loved this book. The story was great. The writing was perfect. I loved travelling through space with the stars. A cool different style of fantasy. Libra is a fantastic fmc. I love all the references to space/planets/stars. I was always wondering what was going to happen next. Funny moments, lovely heartwarming moments and a few sad ones too!! I can’t wait to read book 2!!

Libra and Orion were everything! I just loved their growth, and how they learned to love each other, through their losses. Libra’s shadows and Orion’s light were the perfect balance. And that ending?! Whew! Such a great read! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

This book was so good! It had spice, but didn’t focus on the spice. It was more about the adventure. I love the creative idea of the zodiac signs being the main characters. I really liked this book and I’m already starting the second one.

I feel like the story and plot is amazing! for me there's just something lacking that I can't put my finger on. some of the world building or small details are missing. similar to running your hands over a cozy blanket that has some tangles in it that disrupt the experience

I loved this book. It had two of my favorite tropes of arranged marriage and enemies to lovers. The whole book was action packed and didn’t slow down until the end.
