Rate this book
Navigating your way through a breakup you didn't want is going to take all the strength you have. Many describe it as one of the most painful experiences in life. Whether you were blindsided or you saw it coming, you are ill-prepared for the fall out.

Do you give up hope or do you fight for the relationship? How do you rebuild your identity when they were such a big part of it?Can it be repaired, and if so, how? These are some of the questions you'll have circling your brain 24/7.

In Heal with Recovering From a Breakup You Didn’t Want, you'll find answers to the above and more from Darlene Scartabello-Kollet, a relationship coach specializing in breakup and divorce recovery. While your experience is unique, human nature follows a similar pattern. People on all sides of the breakup have shared their experiences with the author and now she wants to share them with you. You don't have to reinvent the wheel because the work has been done. This book will not only explain a little about what might have happened in your relationship, but it details the recovery process and all the speed bumps you’ll hit along the way.

Use this book as your blueprint. Healing starts here and it starts today! Let's do this.

Darlene Is A Bright Shining Light

A very good friend of mine sent me a link to Darlene's Instagram. It was one the kindest things anyone did for me during my divorce. Anyone going through the loss of a marriage/partnership should read this book, and follow Darlene on any of her social media. It will get you through the crisis and to the other side!

To Darlene: I've never met you, but I feel like you are one of my closest friends. Thank you for all you do. Keep sparkling, and keep up the wonderful, and important work you do!

Wonderfully and compassionately written. A thoughtful and honest glimpse into the things that you will experience from a breakup from someone whom you loved, fully.

Don’t expect reading alone to give you the benefit of healing. The real journey on the healing journey is accomplished through work like journaling, letting everything be as it may.

You still have you! Love yourself and at some point you will realize that it’s all love, and we’re all light.

Unpretentious and full of common sense

This is the antidote to the quasi-scientific, navel-gazing Orthodoxy of the self-help world. It pays attention to the Gottmans and the Beaties, but in a way that riffs around their pompous surety in a very human way, with prose which is both funny and warm.
