Technically pretty solid. Really nice use of enjabment. Dunno how I feel about Anne Sexton as a medium, but I'm really not an expert on her work. Maybe I should be.
This marvelous book is rich with eros, art, etymology, and birds. Treseler’s poems are resonantly musical and courageous in their revelations and philosophizing. From Anne Sexton and Maxine Kumin to Emily Dickinson and Catullus, Treseler evokes and embodies her poetic ancestors as she pushes the lyric into ever tighter, ever more compelling realms. My very favorite thing about this book is its consideration of deep, abiding female friendship, and of the role of Eros within such friendships. This is not a collection to miss.
