Lana Vawser takes you on a journey into your heart and draws out the deep wells with His the words of life, the wisdom and the passionate love that He wants in a relationship with you. She shares her life experiences which touched me in the deepest parts of my heart. There were chapters as I read them, I would find myself choking back the tears as the heart welled up inside. At times I thought i was going to explode. He truly loves us and as you read this book you will find that Lana is very passionate for the body of Christ to become all she is called to be and to fulfill her destiny in the eyes of Her Beloved! I read a chapter a night, it was all I could handle because of the depth of her words that often sliced me through in conviction and a longing to be all He wants me to be, in a deep relationship with HIM, daily! Amazing book, it is short but powerpacked! You will be forever changed.

Wonderful read!

This is a great book that will challenge you to step up your game on your relationship with Jesus. I love that Lana's passion comes through loud and clear when it comes to knowing our Savior, Jesus.
Take the time to dive deep and see what comes of a beautiful relationship with the one who came, who died and who rose again so th R we could have eternal life.

Lana Vawser writes from the heart of her Heavenly Father giving practical steps to a closer relationship with Him. This book encourages the Bride of Christ to grow in intimacy with Him and allow the Spirit of God access to teach and guide. 1 Samuel 3:9 "Speak Lord for your servant is listening."
It was just what I needed as I long to hear His voice and share His heart each day.

My reason for reading this book was that I thought it was on Spiritual Formation and with the author being Australian expected to give that flavour to practices. Unfortunately, this is Pentecostal teaching which for the most part tends to be narrow and shallow. Pentecostal books are usually about faith, giving and tithing, healing and exhortation. This work sits under the exhortation category. The last chapter in my mind was the best written, it had a lot of interesting things to say but really never got that deep before another wonderful interesting thing was said that wasn't expounded on either. Basically, pray, have more faith, spend more time with Jesus is the basic message. Not bad, but until the last chapter, the author didn't say much about her faith journey and what she has learned on that journey. This book was written for a Pentecostal audience who usually don't have much depth in their spiritual life. Take Hillsong songs for instance; modern but insipid and not too original. They love a drum solo. Anyway, I digress. I have checked out the author's website who describes herself as a prophet. If only Pentecostals had the circumspection that the Jewish people did. If that was the case, most of the Pentecostal self diagnosed prophets would have been stoned as false prophets. I'm sure this review will get up someones nose. Sorry children.

Lana Vawser's heart for the Lord is evident on every page and she invites readers to cultivate a similar hunger for intimacy with Jesus. A beautiful and practical little book that stirred my spirit to answer the call to a greater relationship with God.
