I started my journey as a reader but quickly learned how much I enjoyed everything about romance, so I picked up the pen in 2017 and haven't looked back. Writing various genres, paranormal romance is my go-to. However, I do have a few mysteries and contemporary romances under my belt.

My favorite books involve characters that aren't perfect and have room to grow or a good mystery you can't easily solve. With each new book, I keep this in mind and enjoy creating complex worlds where my characters take the stage.

When I am not creating fantastic new worlds for my readers to get lost in, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two rescue dogs, Sammie and Jake.

This was a sweet story of love being in the eye of the beholder. 6’2 Callie is a single mom of twins who need medical intervention so Callie needs to do what she can as a mother to take care of her babies. Callie isn’t without her own medical issues - in comes the short sweet talking nerdy billionaire Dewayne to literally sweep her off her feet and make all her dreams come true. The story was short and moved quickly but it wasn’t without its ups and downs and plenty of spice.

I’m almost sad this series is ending. I have enjoyed reading each author’s take on an auction purchase and weekend of fun, followed by a lifetime of love! Each book has been so fascinating, so individually exceptional, and I am so happy that I have been able to be a part of this journey!

Now, onto Eye of the Buyer by K.R. Hall. This was an inspirational eye of the beholder romance book. Callie is 6’2” and has twin daughters that need kidney transplants. The only way she can get the money is to enter the auction. Dewayne is a 5’7” billionaire computer guru and isn’t always suave with the ladies. He gets super nervous and his dates usually don’t end well. His friend convince him to enter the auction hoping it will give him some confidence.

From the moment Dewayne sees Callie on the stage, he knew she was “the one”. He wins her in the auction, he has amazing confidence around her, they have a great weekend, and Callie’s daughters get their transplant.

Now…there is WAY more to this story! We have amazing supporting characters! BB and Papi are the absolute, most fabulous , cutest EVER! I love them both! Hannah and Harper were the most adorable! I loved the idea of two dads, but still keeping in touch with the surrogate mom and her partner. The whole family was so tight knit. You could feel it in the writing!

I loved this whole book. It was written with amazing body positivity and great encouragement for others to have confidence in themselves. Fantastic and strong ending to the A Night to Remember Auction. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Let me be perfectly honest here. I can't get into 3rd person POV. Because of this, it took me a minute to find my groove in the story but I actually really did like the sweetness of this story and I liked the stories of the characters. Dewayne threw me a bit with his sweet and gentle nature. I'm used to the dark romance, with guys like Nick Bruin or Levi Madden and Ash Miller (iykyk).

But ya also know, sweet in the streets, freak in the sheets. This book was spicy! And Dewayne knew how to treat his lady. They both partook in the auction for different reasons. Dewayne was just looking for a lady for the weekend. Callie is a single mom, and that leaves very little in her budget. And when her twin daughters need new kidneys and the copay is astronomical, it devastates her. She hears about this auction and feels it's the only thing she can do so she can save her daughters.

Again, really liked the story, the spice was spicin'.

This is the last book in the night to remember auction series. Callie is a single mom whose twins need surgery so she enters the auction to pay for it. Dewayne attends the auction because his friend said it would help him get over his shyness around women. As the saying goes the rest is history. I love how supportive he is to Callie and that he accepts her
girls right away. I’m sad this series is over it was an amazing ride!

This was a sweet and emotional read. I loved the representation of the illness the twin girls had, and they getting help. I really enjoyed Dewayne’s relationship with the twins. Callie was a great mom, and I really enjoyed watching her and Dewayne’s relationship grow. The spice in this was great. I light and quick read.

I am sad to see this series coming to an end. I have loved every single book, and it has been so fun reading them all! ✨

So, if you're someone who enjoys a third-person point of view, you will love this story. I, on the other hand, dislike it, which is why I gave it a 4 star. This plot and spice were good, I just struggled because third person isn't for me. I did love the characters, and I definitely loved the world it was set in! Sad to see the world end . Callie and Dewayne are great!

For a 3rd POV book the storyline was good but my only bad thing to say was that the ending felt rushed and didn’t see much about the new baby. The author did a great job bringing all this to the end and I loved her characters Dewayne and Calle. Seeing the FMC being super tall (taller than the male) was pretty awesome and then learning something new. Overall the story was really good.

I’m going to be honest I was a super fan of this book, I think the 3rd person POV threw me off. I also really felt like there was just a lot of chaos to cause drama but didn’t feel like a true part of the story.

This was a great read!!! I adored Callie's character and loved them inclusivity of all love! I also loved that the author wrote this story with characters from an author friend who passed. It was a beautiful tribute and has me needing to check out the books that these characters originated from. 🥹

As with previous reviews this is in third person and because other books I read are not like this it did take time to get in to and that’s not a complaint it’s just a personal preference.
This was well written though and a good story line and the last book in the auction world! So we came to the end with a good book a spicy book for Callie and Dewayne

The HEA She Always Dreamed Of

Hands down some of the best, strongest & most diverse family bonds I’ve ever read about. It was the kind of book that can’t help but to be #familygoals 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 It is rare to love some of the secondary characters as much, if not more, than the main characters, but with characters like BB & Papi, it was hard not to 😍🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t worry though, our main characters, Callie & Dewayne, were pretty loveable. They were so different from what you would usually expect, yet they quickly stole my heart.

We’ve seen a variety of people come together during the auction, yet right off the bat, Callie & Dewayne were not 2 characters that you would assume would work together, for a lot of different reasons, but from the moment Dewayne saw Callie, he disagreed & knew she was it. He wasn’t originally looking for more than the weekend that the auction promised, and meeting Callie turned his whole world upside down. Callie just needed the money to get her twins lifesaving medical treatment, but Dewayne was an answer to her prayers in more ways than one. Watching their relationship grow (as well as his with her adorable daughters) was by far one of the sweetest stories of this series.

I truly appreciated the underlying theme of finding your confidence, and feeling love for your body, no matter what, because I struggle with that so much, yet this actually had me truly full of inspiration to try to move past so much of my own inner degradation. There were definitely some unexpected plot twists & surprises that I really didn’t see coming, and I can’t stress how much I appreciate when that happens lol. The ending especially was total emotional chaos that I wasn’t expecting, but I loved everything about how it all turned out 🥰 This was a quick, sweet, spicy, heartwarming, emotional story, and a beautiful way to end this series ❤️ Just a little side note, but the way the conversation flowed took a little while for me to get past. Once I did though, I truly loved the storyline. Just FYI in case anyone else struggles with that while trying to read this✨

Format: 📱 eBook 📱 (ARC)
Check TWs before reading.

I won't lie to you, it took me a little bit to get into this one due to the 3rd person POV of the writing. That is 100% a me thing, and definitely did not affect my rating of the book, because once I got into the story, I honestly forgot that it was written that way.

I really enjoyed Callie and Dewayne's story. I won't lie, I got a bit confused, especially after the author's note, about characters and setting - I almost felt like I missed pivotal information about some of the other players in the book - but once we got into the story of why Callie wanted to be part of the auction, the plot flowed freely, and I really enjoyed what Hall delivered.

I really commended Callie and her choice to join the auction, to get the money to help her daughters. What a selfless thing to do as a mother and it was just so sweet in the end. Dewayne is such an honest to god sweetheart. There is no other way to put it.

Definitely a sweet way to end off the shared world, and I am so thankful for all the stories I've read within it, and all the new authors introduced to me along the way.

Thank you to the author and the A Night to Remember Auction team for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.

Eye of The Buyer is the final book in the Night to Remember Auction series. This is a collaboration series written by 11 different authors. These books can be read as standalones however to fully enjoy this series the way the authors intended, it is highly suggested to read them in order. Eye of the Buyer is the story of Callie and Dewayne. Callie is a single mother of 3 yr old twins that need a life saving surgery however she is strapped for cash. A friend tells her about the auction as a way to help her get the money needed for the surgery. Dewayne finds himself uncomfortable around women and can’t find the right one to have a relationship with. His friends talk him into attending the auction to buy a weekend of fun to help him out. The connection Callie and Dewayne has is incredible. This is a fun light-hearted story to end the series. I received this directly from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Something was missing

This is the eleventh and final standalone in the Night to Remember Auction shared world. Even though it is a standalone in this world it didn’t feel it was a standalone in the world the characters came from. You get some background on the main characters in the first couple chapters but are also introduced to 12 characters from the other series with just basic information. The first half of the book was great. It focused on Callie and Dewayne and the auction. The second half of the book felt like a large epilogue for another series. If you are familiar with the world these characters come from you probably would have really appreciated the second half. I just felt like there was something missing from the story. To be fair the author does state at the beginning she is writing using characters from this other series. There is quite a bit of spice but it was pretty repetitive. The characters do get a HEA.

I struggled connecting to the characters. The flow was a bit everywhere. The books started with them talking about their problems what they going through which leads them to the auction and meeting. They had a wonderful weekend and then after it was like a bunch of stuff started happening. I can't even tell you why they said I love you bc I just wasn't feeling them.

Also when the book started he said he struggled dating cause he would get super nervous and stutter. Which led to him having almost no sexual experience but when he got the fmc this man transformed. He went from a sweet, stuttering can't talk to women man to a dirty talking that knows exactly what he's doing. I felt like the difference between how he spoke about himself and what he did was completely different to me. I would have liked for the author to focus on his stuttering a bit. Like that's not gonna go away all of a sudden 😭

Also this book was in 3rd pov which is not my favorite thing in the world.

The last story of the series and what a sweet story to end on. This story is sweetness to the heart from both sides, Dewayne is looking to build his confidence with woman, and what better way to do it than to purchase yourself merchandise for the weekend. Callie is single mum of twins who is in need of money to help her girls get the surgery that they so desperately need and when an opportunity arises to earn some extra money from having a weekend of fun she really cant say no.

These two when they meet have an instant connection, that goes beyond the basic needs of human, they connect on more than a physical level. As the weekend draws to an end these two realise that they have more than just a weekend. This is a beautiful story that builds as they two get to know each other. Take away the sweetness and we are hit with spice, spice and spice.

Eye of the Buyer is written by K. R. Hall and is part of the A Night To Remember Auctions series written by several different authors.

Callie needs to figure out how to raise a considerable amount of money and fast. Her twin daughters need liver transplants and they are not cheap. So when her friend presents the auction to her as a possibility, will she be able to jump at the opportunity? Dewayne is so shy around women. He can’t help but stutter and stammer around them. When his friends suggest doing the auction to help, will he take the opportunity to help get past all of the shyness?

This was a sweet story within this world. Neither main character is without flaws and they work through things together.

THE LAST BID IS IN!

The final lot up for auction in a Night to Remember at Club Lust see's a shy, uncertain MMC find his strength in a tall, disabled FMC who shows him and herself their own self worth. While the story is written well, with plenty of emotion, laughter and love, as the characters are from an already established series, the dynamics took a little to work through. The story has plenty of drama and steam and the underlying storyline is again something different and unexpected as all the stories within this series have been.

Holy Moly

This is how you finish a shared world out. Every one of these books were amazing, this one rocked the feels HARD.

A mom with twin girls needs ALOT of money fast to save their lives. The auction is a lifeline. A young man with a stutter wants to get over his awkwardness.

These two woods collide and what happens is nothing but magic. My heart is still pounding. HEA comes, but so much to overcome first for sure.

Loved every one of these characters and I refuse to pick one. A must read for sure!

The final story in the night to remember series. Such a sweet and amazing story. I loved the struggles that both Callie and Dewayne went though. I just wanted to squeeze them both and love them forever. Was a bit of a change of gears from the others in the series, with this being a more sweet and warm read with all the drama, spice and laughs added in.

Throughly enjoyed this book and was a really enjoyable read.

This was a quick sweet story. Callie and Dewayne were the cutest couple. I loved their interactions with one another and others. Callie is a single mom of twins who need a major surgery. Callie also faces her own medical
Issues. She has no where left to turn to so she takes a chance on the auction. Dewayne sees her and knows he has to win her. He sweeps her off her feet and is her knight in shining armor. This has drama some spice and a lot of romance.

So this book was super sweet and I loved the relationship between the two of them. The spice was good and I have loved this universe. I also loved her dads. They were so supportive.
I will say the third person was hard to get into especially when all the other books have been first. And at times I had trouble following who was speaking. But that is purely preference. And at times some of the plot points came out of no where without build up.
But overall I enjoyed the story.

I absolutely loved this book. I felt for Callie. Beeing a single mom is hard enough and expensive enough but to add to that the children needed something so expensive. The struggle is so real. My heart went out to her. I understand that a mom would do anything to save a child. I loved this story and how it ended and I loved this entire series. The series was a great read and I found some new authors while following it.

Eyes Of The Buyer by K.R. Hall is definitely in my top 3 favorite books of the Night To Remember shared world. They definitely saved one of the best for last.
A mom with twin girls needs to find a wayto get money to save her daughters' lives. A well to do gentleman who has a hard time with the ladies. The Niht To Remember auction brings them together, love keeps them going. Through the ups and downs of life test their strength, but in the end they all become one very loving family.

Eye of the Buyer is the eleventh and final book in the A Night To Remember Auction series. All of these books can be read as a standalone.

Callie and Dewayne's story was so freaking good. She did what any selfless mother would do to save her babies. I was thrown off a bit by the 3rd person POV, but after a bit, I sped through it quickly. This was a very quick read, but very sweet and spicy. What a way to conclude this series. Definitely recommend binging this entire series!!

eye of the buyer

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Callie had issues like being super tall and having a bad ticker. She was also a single mom to twins who also had issues and that’s how Callie entered the auction . To save her twins. Little did she know she would meet Dewayne who I swear was just the sweetest and the chemistry between them was amazing there was so much steam between the two for that weekend . It was a pleasant read and I loved the Hea.

Callie is a single mother to twin girls who need new kidneys and she's a mother that will do anything for them, even auction herself, Dewayne is a computer genius he can do anything with them, butbwhe  it comes to women he's not so adept  asking his friends for help he did think he'd end up at an auction let alone find someone like Callie  well written steamy sweet fast paced read.

This book to me was one of the sweetest books and the opposites attract feeling really made this book stand out. It took me a bit longer to read just because of the POV, but that did not stop me from finishing it and truly enjoying the story with Callie and Dewayne. This was a great conclusion to the series!
