Veronica, aka Ronnie, has always been a…free spirit. She’s addicted to experiences, and the high it inevitably brings.
Until one decision derails her perfectly curated life.
She finally caught the attention of the mystery man from her favorite club, Dusk ‘Til Dawn
Well, now she’s had him, and what a night that was.
A night that left her with a little surprise…

Finn isn’t the type to get attached.
He’s never been in a long term relationship, never even been in love, much less been a father.
He’s scared, and intimidated by the blonde bombshell who is carrying their child.
As a spoiled trust fund kid, he’s never been accountable for anyone but himself.
He doesn’t know the first thing about being responsible.

The two of them have to find a way to co-exist, and raise this baby together.
Ronnie may be a free spirit, but she doesn’t want to do this alone.
Finn may have zero experience, but he doesn’t want to fail…again.

Can the two of them do this without falling in love?

“I wanted nothing more than to love Ronnie like a man dying and she was the only drug that could save me.”

This book yall. The emotional journey it took me on was amazing. I love a book that can make me feel despair in the depths of my soul, and then bring me back to life. This is one of those special books. I loved watching Ronnie and Finn tackle their own individual journeys as well as growing together in their relationship. It is so hard not to share spoilers, but I feel like this one you should read completely spoiler free so you can feel alllll the raw moments to their full potential.

Say I'm Yours, Firecracker is a contemporary, grumpy/sunshine, small town romance featuring Veronica (Ronnie) Gibson and Finn Hart.

Ronnie has been eyeing a big, beautiful man at her favourite club for some time. She doesn't know his name, but she doesn't want to. No names. No repeats. No feelings. As long as she follows those simple rules, there's no risk of attachment which inevitably leads to painful loss.

Ronnie gets what she wants - a very hot encounter with the hot guy. One and done. She's very satisfied and never needs to see him again... until the little stick says there was a process failure. Not only did they use a condom, but Ronnie's doctor told her she couldn't get pregnant. Ever. So how can she be pregnant?

After her amazing doctor confirms the results, Ronnie needs to track her Behemoth down to let him know that he is going to be a daddy. Fortunately the guy, whose name she still doesn't know, is her bestie's fiancé's bestie. (Did you follow that?)

Ronnie reaches out to Finn to let him know. He doesn't freak out and tells her he'll be there for her... for them. They start to get to know one another but then he freaks out. Finn doesn't know from relationships. The more he gets to know Ronnie the more impressed he is by her, and the more he falls for her. She deserves better though so he does the only logical thing - he ghosts her. In the wise words of Julia Roberts.... big mistake. Huge!

Ronnie doesn't let people in. Having let Finn in, and trusted him to stick by her... he won't get another chance. Or will he?

This was a really cute story where a one night stand leads to a HEA. It's not all sweetness though. It touches on some challenging topics including pregnancy loss, infertility and body image. (I loved that the body image aspect was from a male perspective!) There's also some delicious spice.

I enjoyed reading Ronnie and Finn's story, and learning more about their respective backgrounds. I also love their support systems. I also liked how the book was broken down into the three trimesters of pregnancy. I am embarrassed to admit that it wasn't until Chapter 41 that I actually looked at the chapter header graphic and made the connection. Oh boy!

I hope Wilson-West has Xavier's book planned as we definitely need to round out the trio with his own happy ending.

Say I’m Yours Firecracker is a romance between two strangers who had an explosive one night stand at a club. Unfortunately the condom broke and our main female character Ronnie ends up pregnant. After telling our main male character Finn that he’s going to be a father, he wants to be the best father he can be but in a moment of panic he bolts. A month later he shows back up to prove that not only is he ready to be a father but also be the partner Ronnie didn’t even know she wanted. But Ronnie is pissed and let’s be honest she has every right to be. Her trust in Finn is broken and her walls are even higher and thicker when it comes to him because she knows if she lets him in and he leaves again, her heart will break this time forever. Both Finn and Ronnie have a lot of past baggage to work through in order to finally give their relationship a true shot. They are very messy characters who suck at communicating but that only made them feel real to me. I really enjoyed Finn & Ronnie’s chemistry and although I was angry at Finn for his previous decisions he absolutely made up for it. I love a man who is utterly devoted to his partner and family. It just turns me into goo.

Summary:

Veronica “Ronnie” doesn’t have a family and struggles with the fear of getting close to alone in case they leave her. She has her best friends Bellamy and Xvaier. She notices a brown hair hottie at the bar they frequent. One night Finn gives in to her flirting and they have what was supposed to be a one-night stand. Instead, Ronnie ends up pregnant and now they have to navigate life, past traumas, and pregnancy.

My thoughts:

I loved Say I’m Yours, Firecracker. The storyline flowed really well. I really liked how the connection between Ronnie and Finn was portrayed. It felt real and strong. The side characters were done well and added a little extra drama especially Bellamy.

I plan to read Say I do, Sunshine and I hope Xavier and Penelope both get their own books.

Thank you BoundByMischief and Taylor Wilson-West for the complimentary copy of Say I’m Yours, Firecracker.

Okay, I love Ronnie and Finn’s story. I loved the emotional rollercoaster that this book had!
The spice was amazing right off the bat; and y’all…it was hot! 🥵
Also background stories for the two were incredible; especially our girl Ronnie. Might’ve texted Taylor about that curve ball.
Absolutely love Taylor’s writing. Can’t wait to see what else is going to come out of mind to the paper!
Thank you so much Taylor for letting me be on your ARC team and sending me this great book! ❤️

Say I’m Yours, Firecracker is the second installment in the Say Series, while it can be read as a standalone I recommend reading Say I Do, Sunshine first. This book was absolutely amazing. Taylor takes you on the world wind adventure between Finn (AKA Behemoth or Baby Daddy, also Aaron’s best friend) and Ronnie (AKA Firecracker, also Bellamy’s best friend). This book takes you on an emotional roller coaster from the very beginning. You can’t help but fall in love with Finn and you can’ help but love Ronnie’s character and the way she protects herself and her soon-to-be baby.

I loved watching Ronnie and Finn tackle their own individual journey’s and both finding their way by themselves as well as together. There are so many raw moments that really capture the characters and how they are feeling. Taylor did an amazing job of portraying each of these characters. Finn is a trust fund gym rat, whereas Ronnie is the life of the party and a free spirit. As they say opposites attract and these two couldn’t be anymore opposite but it makes for some great chemistry between them.

The spice in this book was amazing and you didn’t have to wait long for it, it was right in the prologue. It hooked you right from the beginning. I loved learning about the background stories for each character and how they helped each other overcome their obstacles. The banter between the two characters is phenomenal. You can literally feel the pull they have towards each other and you are rooting for Finn the entire time.

Finn may be this huge broody sexy man, but he’s really a cinnamon roll who is very protective of his girl. I love how it deals with the medical side of each character without just skipping over it. It sheds light on the issues and shows them working through it. I recommend this book but prepare yourselves for an amazing emotional rollercoaster with a HEA!!

I loved Ronnie in book one, and I was so excited when I heard she was getting her very own story! I am so freaking happy that she did too! I loved this one. I could not put it down. I loved getting to know both Ronnie and Finn more and seeing where it all started for the two of them fans self 😆. It was sweet watching them both go from party girl/play boy into full on parent mode. Another thing that I loved is that this book is a standalone that is set in a shared world. It was so nice to see the characters from the first book again and see where they're at. I adore them all and their friendship. This book made me love Xavier even more! I'd be so down for a book from his pov. A newer character that was thrown in that I found particularly interesting was Eli. I'm curious to see if we'll cross paths with him again someday!
Say I'm Yours, Firecracker briefly touched on some deeper topics such as survivors guilt, so it isn't necessarily just an easy going light read. There is some heartbreak in there.
I don't really read a lot of books with the surprise pregnancy trope. I wouldn't say I hate it or anything, it just doesn't come up often in the books I read and I haven't gone out of my way searching for specific books with that trope. I didn't mind it with this book though! I can't wait to get a little sneak peek at where their little families at in a future book.

Check this one out sometime along with the first standalone in the series - Say I Do, Sunshine!

Taylor did it again! The coziness and ease of this read did what it was supposed to do. You follow party girl Ronnie, and playboy Finn. I met these two in Taylor’s debut novel Say I Do, Sunshine (also loved that book!) I loved Ronnie since and loved that she has her own story ☺️ A month after Ronnie and Finn have a one night stand she finds out that she’s pregnant by Finn & the rest is a rollercoaster ride you don’t want to miss! It was interesting how the parts of this book were broken up into Ronnie’s trimesters and I was such a fan of it, it felt like I was part of her pregnancy. The chemistry between the two was off the charts and watching them go from their old selves to getting to know each other and figuring out the co-parenting was done so well! There were serious topics that were touched on and Taylor did an amazing job handling them with care (check for content warnings). The doctor visit scenes were great and so realistic, it really felt like I was experiencing pregnancy all over again. This is Taylor’s second book that is a standalone in the same world as Say I Do, Sunshine so there will be characters that crossover and I am here for it! This was a book that started off with a bang (quite literally) lol and kept at a steady pace, it was so easy to read and hard to put down. The story really keeps you locked in, I most definitely recommend for my small town romance lovers!

New Release
5 star read
Surprise pregnancy
Small town romance
Book 2 (standalone)

Ronnie has 3 rules:
🔥No Names
🔥No Repeats
🔥No Feelings
This is exactly how it was supposed to be with Ronnie and Finn when they met at the club and had a great night.
Neither wanted a relationship, let alone one with each other, until Ronnie finds out she is pregnant. Then they don't know what they should do or what they want.

This book was amazing! I have not read book 1 yet so this was the first book that I have read by Taylor, and lets just say I already have the first book and her new Christmas novella downloaded and ready to read. I definitely am giving this book a 5 star review and adding it to my top reads!
I love the characters, their free spirits, their growth and development of themselves and also with each other is amazing! Ronnies love for strawberry milkshakes which just so happens to be my favorite makes it every more spectacular!! 😍

Highly recommend this book, it will have you hooked and is a quick fun read.

Say I’m Yours, Firecracker is the second installment in the Say Series, and I am 1000% here for it. Taylor Wilson-West takes several hard life issues, wraps them up gently, and handles them with care. This story follows Ronnie and Finn and what comes from a hot, steamy one-night stand. Surprise, it’s a baby! Can these two carefree, wild card strangers come together and tackle life with a baby? It seems like the perfect match when they run in the same circle.

What I love most about Firecracker is the personal growth between the characters and their relationship. I loved the banter and the teasing; hello, grey sweatpants! I will always look at yoga differently because that scene lives rent-free in my head. The friendships established in Say I Do, Sunshine are still present and going strong. My favorite trio, Bellamy, Ronnie, and Xavier, are forever in my heart.

Overall, Say I’m Yours, Firecracker is a must-read for anyone looking for a heartwarming story about overcoming personal challenges, past trauma, and an adorable family with a HEA. It just goes to show that sometimes sexy one-night stands can turn into everything you didn’t know you ever wanted.

As you may or may not know, I’m a big fantasy girly and don’t read a ton of contemporary romance. But if @25thavenuewest writes it, I’m gonna read it (and love it, apparently). I’ve now read THREE of her books and loved each one (is all contemporary romance this good or is it just Taylor??). This was such a fun story, Ronnie is a fav and I adored her and Finn! This is the second book in the series but you do not need to read “Say I Do, Sunshine” in order to read this one (but I do recommend giving that one a read too because it was also great!). The spice was spicing and this was just a great, fun read. Definitely recommend!!

Thank you so much to Taylor Wilson-West for my arc copy, all thoughts and opinions are my own. “Say I’m Yours, Firecracker” is out 12/5/23!

✨✨I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

TAYLOR MISS GWORL!!! This book started off hot from the absolute beginning and this was truly one that was unputdownable. I enjoyed every single second of this book and fell in love with it.

Ronnie is the emotionally closed off FMC and Finn is the big teddy bear lover boy MMC. They have an “encounter” in a nightclub that leads to them having to figure out their feelings for each other and how to raise a child together.

I love love loved all of the characters. The way Bellamy is about Ronnie is how my Peen Pals are about me and I loved that so much for her. I even liked BILLY FROM THE DINER.

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions but it was so beautifully written from beginning to the end. Especially to me who just had my own “little bean” this year.

There were so many smiles brought to me from Ronnie and Finn’s story and I cannot wait for whatever Taylor comes up with next.

I highly recommend this it was too cute!

Thank you Sam at Bound By Mischief and Taylor for the opportunity!

I just want to give you everything, Firecracker. You deserve the world.

Wow. Guys. Taylor really stepped her game up with Ronnie and Finn’s story. When I tell you I flew through it I mean I didn’t realize it was way past my bedtime by the time I finished. This one was an absolute blast from start to finish, and the strawberry milkshakes were a nice touch, if I do say so myself! Ronnie and Finn had a lot to work through both separately and together and I love that they were both given that chance to soul search on their own. I also had a lot of appreciation for the fact that the conflict lasted for more than a page. As always, I absolutely loved the side characters and seeing them again (and revisiting Bell!) and I absolutely fell in love with one of our brand new side characters in town. This one was a chock full of goodness and hardships and laughs and joy and all the feels and I couldn’t recommend it more!

Okay y’all. Taylor is my contemporary, auto-buy, blow up her DMs, QUEEN! I said what I said.

This novel was ADORABLE!!!! Accidental pregnancy done RIGHT (well, it’s not a surprise so that helps hahah). But seriously, this book was everything 😭 I am in LOVE with Finn, good god. What an amazing guy. The SPICE! 🥵

Taylor kills it in every way: her writing is fun and well done. The spice is hott but not raunchy. Her pacing and quality of storyline are impeccable. The relationships and HEAs are amazing yet realistic.

Always check triggers, but Taylor also does an incredible job with the touchy subjects she needs in her plot. Sensitive and not emotionally draining to read. Miscarriage scare, infertility, etc. did not make me bat an eye despite personal history with these topics.

Firecracker tropes: Small town romance, best friend’s fiancé’s best friend 😅, cinnamon roll MMC, grumpy/sunshine, one night stand turns HEA.

Ronnie is warm, wild at heart, and truly loyal to her friends. She's got her set of rules when it comes to men due to her past, though… I love how 3 dimensional she is. Finn hasn’t grown up quite yet. He hasn’t had to work for much and he’s never fully found his direction. So, when Ronnie and Finn meet, the chemistry just can’t be denied. Soon, they realize they’re going to be parents. And so much needs to change.

This book is so different from many romances I read and I just loved it. Ronnie and Finn’s banter is just right. The spiciness is mwah!! I just can’t say enough. The character paths are just lovely. Their found family is growing by leaps and bounds and is just amazing. ;)

This is book 2 in the ‘Say Standalones’ and I’m so glad to be back in this world!!! I loved the first one, adored this one, and I am so thrilled for the next installment!! Yay!!!!

I have been anticipating this book since I finished Say I Do Sunshine. I had to know what Ronnie and Finn’s story was and it did not disappoint. Buckle up friends Taylor has written another great story.
This couple has many obstacles and challenges add in an accidental pregnancy and how can you put the book down?… By the way I didn’t put this book down I read in one sitting 😊. This fast paced story takes you on an emotional roller coaster, where there were times I wanted to shake some sense into these characters, but I still loved them and their story. I’m excited to see what’s next for this series.

Another super fun and entertaining read from Taylor! I loved reading Ronnie and Finn’s story, they are so good together, along with the great cast of friends I fell in love with from Say I Do, Sunshine.

Both MCs are so likable, but have their own issues they need to work through, which they deal with together and apart. Their friends are always there to support them as well, I love that they make so much time for each other. With such a big change in their lives, I like how both MCs deal with it differently, yet become so in sync.

This book has sass, fun banter, scenes to make you swoon, and spicy scenes to make you sweat. Absolutely recommended if you want a quick, fun read!

Sooooo sooo good! Which I had no doubt it would be incredible following Taylor’s debut novel Say I do, Sunshine.

Seriously, add this book to your tbr asap!

Ronnie has rules, one night only, no names.
Well, that is until she Meets Finn and surprise!!!! Their one night, no names, no repeats, ends in a surprise pregnancy. They have to navigate all the newness of their upcoming journey into parenthood together and it’s not exactly graceful but it makes for one heck of a story. I LOVED THIS BOOK.

If you like small town romance, a surprise pregnancy trope, no third act break up, and a happily ever after.
Read this book right now! 💕🙌🏻

I really enjoyed this book. It was easy to devour and got me out of a book slump. I like the writing and the🌶️ hits early and its 🥵.
I'm not a fan of the surprise pregnancy trope but I found I liked the way this was written and played out. I might throw this trope into the rotation more. I also really enjoyed the focus on the medical side and how it wasn't skipped over and was accurate. You get to be there for the journey and the drama. You can read this as a standalone or as part of the series.

I’ve loved Ronnie since reading the first book, and I was so excited to learn that she was getting her own book and say I’m yours firecracker!

The beginning of this book is on fire, multiple chili peppers… And I loved every second of it! Apparently, so did Ronnie lol SIYF is a quick read that shows you the vulnerability of two people learning to deal with the punches that life froze at them well also learning to love each other.

I loved every bit of this book and am impatiently waiting for the next.

I saw this book advertised all over social media and was really looking forward to reading it.
Initially I liked the pace of the book and it seemed like the connection between the main characters was strong.
Overall, the plot was good and I liked how the MMC fell for FMC first.
However, personally the writing style wasn't my taste, the characters choices confused me a bit and they seemed immature at times.
