This read like an AI input book. Didn’t flow well and constantly felt like it never fully touched on any of the rhetorical questions it asked ( to hook you in) or on the chapter headings. A couple of the tea processes were useful but I feel like this one missed the mark. Don’t really recommend

Great introduction to Herbalism

Very thorough, covering all aspects of the benefits, the chemicals, how to grow herbs, how to make teas and salves, and how to incorporate herbalism into everyday life. Thoroughly recommend.

there is better out there

I felt like this book was a little too AI written. Also not much information on the actual herbs its self. Instead it talks about the history of herbalism from thousand of years ago.

A solid portion of this book is pretty okay. Not good or great. It suggests a formula for tea (with a 2:1:1 ratio for herbs) then list a few examples that not only do not follow the formula, but don’t include more than one herb (for example apples and cinnamon.)
After no errors that I picked up on, the writing quality falls off toward the end. The basic information is incredibly basic. I’m not entirely sure there’s much of a human hand in theses books, can’t find any evidence that there is and some of the descriptions of herbs in the beginning are more about vibes than the actual plants or uses. I’m not sure what everyone else is reading that it’s getting so many 5 star ratings.

This book compiles very useful information about hearbs, teas, and plants in general. It's a great way to start your herbalism journey.

As a beginner's guide, it covers a wide range of topics, from herbal compounds and tinctures to plant care and the benefits of common teas.
