Journalist graduate from Universidade Federal Fluminense, he has focused his career on anti culture subjects.
During his time in U.S. he connected to people of all kinds, from the university environment and rock bands scenes.
He released his first book in 1995, after a year touring with bands like Nirvana, Mudhoney and Sonic Youth all around North America. It got an amazing critical acclaim in major Brazilian cities.
He continued with his literary supervision, in an unexplored field for the publishing industry in Brazil.
The second time, in 1997, he wrote Mojica . This time the author shows much of his journalistic skills, with a rich and clean prose.
The third book came in 2000, about the Sepultura band.
His greatest legacy is to narrow the Brazilian & U.S. cultures.
In 2001, he returned to live in Brazil after almost 10 years living in the U.S., based mostly in New York.
