3.5 ⭐️’s A lot of this I have heard on the authors Instagram or TikTok in the past year since following her. Great advise and a quick read. I love thinking about career paths and what that even means.
This is well written and fantastic advice. The latter half of the book is very much focused on entrepreneurship and social media driven self-employment, but even if that is not your goal, especially young professionals, will find a lot of value in the first part of the book. I'm a more seasoned professional, and I've given this advice to some of my direct reports and mentees. And it's a good reminder for me to do it for myself. I picked this up a while ago, anticipating a need for a job change, and read it right as I needed to read it. Even just for the reminder that I am capable.
Michela has a cool story to tell about the working world. Although she is young I appreciate the perspective from someone in the same age range as me. Michela is honest about what it’s like to start a (digital based) business in 2025. I think the information she provides in her book is easy to understand, not too overwhelming, and can help provide some direction for young professionals. This book is a good start and overview for your professionals exploring entrepreneurship.
I loved this book! What a phenomenal read for someone in their twenties trying to get a handle on their career! I really liked the way she used case studies to support everything she said and provided steps for how to elevate resume and overall interviewing experience (which is what I needed the most!)
I'm sorry! I love her as an influencer and I listen to her podcast every week. The book didn't do it for me. I found I needed different types of lifestyle tips and this was more geared towards entrepreneurs and small business owners. Great book! I'm just the wrong audience :)
