A scandal that threatens everything I’ve spent a lifetime building. A scandal that could destroy my legacy. Even worse, somebody is obsessed with her. Someone who mistakes her kindness for something else. I love this sport. I really do. And while I’ve worked so damned hard to get to where I am, none of it matters if I don’t have Devon. None of it. I’m not a guy prone to violence or quick to anger. I generally reserve my aggression on the ice, but when it comes to Devon’s safety…All bets are off.

Sweet & Protective Hockey Star Daddy

I will start by saying I love ALL of Lena’s books. I literally read them the day they come out and this one was no exception. This one was so good it made it into my “Re-Readers” list of books I intend to read again in the future.

The second reading of this story was just as great as the first. The FMC is sweet and sunshiney, but a little bull-headed and naive. She was kind of a B**** when she first met the MMC and thankfully, he was such a good guy he was pushing her to talk to him because she looked scared. Their relationship went uphill from there.

The love scenes were HOT 🥵 and the time they just spent together was super sweet. I loved that it FELT like they were building a relationship based on who they are, not just their looks & chemistry.

There’s some drama throughout the book, but no third act breakup or anything, thank goodness.

I HIGHLY recommend not only this particular story because it’s quite good, but all of Lena’s books, especially if the daddy/lg-lite is your cup of tea 😘

The start of the Game On Book series we have Devon younger women sometimes her age shows but she grows on you her personality is sweet when she wants/needs to be but she literally runs into a sexy man while trying to get away from a creepy classmate and she didn’t realize what she did for him when she bumped into. Dawson sexy as all pro player he has been feeling down his body is getting older where he feel everything falls, hits, just everything when the beautiful Devon runs into him it is like she gives him all the energy he needs and wanting to hang on to it as well as protect her has him wanting to keep her. But with the threats against her now threatens a career he has worked so hard to keep professional but can they, will they work together to put a stop to it all, will they have their time together, and will they find the happiness they seek along with a little peace?

Wow! I love hockey romance so I was quick to grab Protective Player by Lena Little. And let me tell you it did not disappoint. Just as Dawson's passion for hockey, the game he has played for 18 seasons begins to wane, he meets Devon. She becomes his next addiction. But of course a stalker threatens not only Devon but Dawson's career. As always with Lena Little, once I started reading I simply couldn't put it down.

This is the first in a new series, and this is Dawson and Devon’s story.
This is a well written story which has an age gap, scandal, emotions, stalker, danger, suspense, intrigue, undeniable chemistry, tension, angst, drama, obsession, and love, which leads to a steamy, pro-sports romance.

Dawson sees Devon and is instantly smitten with her. These two fell head over heels for each other, but her stalker makes their life difficult.
