Diving back into the second instalment of the Dark Magic Shifters series, Everly had me from the very first page.
I was captivated by the intricate world-building and the depth of the characters. The story has a perfect blend of action, romance, and mystery.
The FMC’s character development, makes it easy to root for her as she navigates through the challenges and dangers of her world. There are a bunch of supporting characters also who are well-developed and add richness to the narrative, each with their own unique arcs and contributions to the story.
The plot twists are top notch, keeping me guessing and eagerly turning the pages. The vivid descriptions and immersive writing style make it easy to visualize the fantastical elements and feel a part of the magical realm. Everly creates some epic worlds throughout her series.
I’m a huge Everly Frost fan and I would recommend this book to others.
I also want to say thank you to Everly Frost for the ARC.
Note (How I rate): One is DNF. Two is got there but struggled. Three stars is a good, enjoyable read. Four is an excellent read and five is a comfort read that lingers with me for life (very difficult to get but not impossible).

Through her stories and series over the years, Author Frost has been constructing a complicated, interwoven, mythical world. And though each story can stand alone, now they are all coming together. And the view is magnificent.
Once again, Everly Frost has delivered a unique, magic-filled adventure in shades of grey, with all the twists and turns. And her character development is chef’s kiss. Just read it!

So much going on in this book 2 of Dark Magic Shifters!!!! So many little twists, so much is not what it seems, our main lady just keeps rolling with the punches!
Obviously, as book 2 in a series, this ends with a cliffhanger – and even though it’s hinted at what that will be, it still leaves me wondering just how Everly is going to fix this in the final book! I absolutely love the characters - except for the main evil dude. He’s evil. I’m 99% sure. We still have another book to go, but I’m fairly certain he’s still a bad guy corrupted by absolute evil. But, Darth Vader was evil until the very end as well, so he has a 1% chance of redemption.
This world is fascinating. I, also, absolutely love the panthers. They might be my favorite characters.
Bonds of Flame picks up exactly where Wolf of Ashes leaves off and if you’ve read past stories, you’ll enjoy all the little glimpses into other series/worlds. Really, just a fantastic continuation of this story. Very much looking forward to Crown of Fate. This series is fantastic!

If you've never read a boom by everly frost, I'm telling you now you're missing out! She has the most creative and crafty ways of story building that are truly a work of art. I find myself looking for connections from other books tied in. It's so well done.
Book 2 picks up with Veda in an impossible situation where hope seems bleak. There is so much packed into this story that leaves Veda turning trying to find the peace she deserves but revenge she seeks to achieve it. I love the side characters and built in families. The strength Veda carries through every twist and turn is admirable. And in true frost fashion the cliffhanger leaves you speechless. I give this book 5 stars and highly recommend you stop wasting time on me rambling and jump in! Read all her books! You will not regret the amazing journey her stories take you on!

** Names Have Power **
I typically wait for a series to be complete before reading it, but I just can't wait for Everly's books!
Book 2 picks up where book 1 ends and even though there wasn't a recap at the beginning, Everly masterfully gives the reader enough information to not feel lost in the story.
SO MUCH happens in this book, it doesn't feel like a transition like a lot of 2nd books in a series feel like. Names have power, and learning names and *keeping* names were my favorite part of the book. While I enjoy an emotionally charged story, the action is well written and kept me engaged as much as the relationship building.
The glimpses of characters from some of Everly's other series always makes me smile. Great read!

I really loved this book, it was absolutely incredible! I’ve loved both books in the Dark Magic Shifters series. Book 2 picks up right where book one finished and straight away I was completely hooked and 100% invested in the story.
I really loved the struggles that the FMC goes through and the relationships that are built. All of the characters are so well developed.
I don’t want to give away spoilers but I will say that this book and series includes ; Epic world building, a bada$$ female main character, incredible action, mystery, romance & so many plot twists. This story will keep you “on the edge of your seat” and you won’t want to put it down! The cliffhanger will leave you screaming for more but thankfully book 3 isn’t too far away.

Everly continues to bloom as a writer and storyteller. Her world building is always top-notch. Her characters are strong, independent, fierce, and feisty! Her stories grow and evolve, helping you immerse and visualise with your mind's eye. And the covers she has for every book definitely looks amazing on my bookshelf!
Bond of Flames kicks off right where Wolf Of Ashes left us on that cliff! There is action, emotion, and excitement throughout the pages, keeping your attention firmly set. Be aware that the ending of this book has a brutal cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the final book Crown Of Fate!

Still choppy
Lots of nonsensical stuff. Lots of food. Lots of filler that's almost used wisely.
But overall, still interesting.
I read this for the keeper, I love him. He is fascinating. Veda is too empty for me, though she's not the worst character. I'm kinda tired of the gotta do everything right, with just the right morality shit.
Naming everything in the old tongue got old too.
This still feels like everything is only surface deep. Most characters are pretty simple, silly things that hold to nothing. But i want to know about the keeper.
I won't bother with the series before this one, though.

I am amazed at how good this book is! I am always blown away by the incredible world building from Everly Frost and how everything is described. The characters in this book, especially the FMC, have you gripped and invested in their story!
The way this book had me on edge the entire time and how it all those plot twists had me needing to know what was going to happen next, I couldn't put this book down.
The cliffhanger ending made me gobsmacked, and I really really need the next book asap!

Dark ✔️ Spicy 🔥 Binge worthy 📖

Outstanding instalment in the Dark Magic Shifters series! If you love a little bit of darkness in your books, a strong FMC and a delicious man with those deadly, damaged eyes, look no further.
Everly’s secret & plot reveals, and sneaky info drops, always drag me into her books with a chokehold, and Bonds of Flames was no different. This world is a dark one with complex characters; every aspect was incredibly written.

Continuing from book 1 we follow "Veda" on the revenge mission with the "keeper" and Panthers!!!!!
The twists and revelations kept on coming throughout🤯. When I say she never got a break... I mean she never got a break at all, literally one thing after another plus add in dealing with her turmoil feelings 💣!!!
I loved the Panthers (my faves)
This installment had a good consistent mix of action, twists, betrayal and romance!!!!!!!
Ending with that Cliffhanger, I can't wait for book 3 to follow the rest of Vedas journey 😍

Once again another flawless amazing book filled with badass characters, mystery, new and old friends, and spice. that cliff and twist were so unexpected that I tripped and fell right over the edge. I screamed at the book wishing it wasn’t so!
Book two picks up right where we were dropped on book one. And just like in book one I was sucked in and transported into the book. Everly takes us on an amazing rollercoaster ride with twist and turns you see coming and some you don’t expect. The emotions from this book are so real. Definitely read this series!

This installation of Veda’s story is an absolute powerhouse. There is so much happening and so many revelations in this book. A lot of those revelations are super emotional and really test Veda. The Keeper is an enigma and I’m very curious to read more about him because I feel like we are seeing only a part. I loved some of the changes with existing characters as well as the introduction of some new ones.

This is yet another book that is fast paced and has you gripped from the first page. It jumps straight back into where the first book left off and doesn’t disappoint. I love how the main F.C who is darkness is the opposite of what is expected of her, the relationships and bonds she has are brilliant and I love the chemistry between them. The story continues at a fast pace and keeps you on your toes as you can never predict what will happen next. I cannot wait for the next book!

I seriously can’t handle this wait I wish that when you release a book you would just release all of them at once so we didn’t have to wait I have started to make it a priority that I won’t read anything unless I have all the books to read anymore. It stresses me out too much and it aggravates the shit out of me lol so for God sakes please hurry up with the next one because this one was amazing. It’s literally the best book I’ve ever read in my life.!!!

Interesting turn if events
Well, that was some adventure, Veda doing the unexpected and defying what was foretold. So many lies and betrayals and the shadow panthers are her true pack Lucien, and his reactions were surprising, and the Keepers motives are confusing when it comes to Veda. Dark creatures can not love yet, but at times, it appears like they care. There are a few surprises at the end, but the story was fast-paced, and I did not pick the end at all.

I loved this book! I absolutely hated that it ended on a cliffy, but I get why it did because I'm just foaming at the mouth for the last in the series. I did see the Galeia twist coming, but not the bonding between dragon shifter and shadow panther. It's super hot how, when their curses are broken, they still do panthery things.

Absolutely loving these books as always when it comes to Frost writing,world and character building. She leaves u with so many emotions and wanting more. I absolutely love the way she uses mythology and folklore in her books!!! Can't wait for the 3rd book bc wow that ending.

This book starts exactly where book one left us and continues to take us on a journey where things aren't always as they seem and people aren't either.
Every is the queen of world building and it's so nice to see glimpse of other characters and series we love.
This one ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what happens in book 3.

This starts right where bk 1 ends. Veda getting the shock that the man she thought was her Uncle is her father, She was there to avenge him but he was alive and he wants her dead. The first few chapters are intense but Diavolo comes right when she's at her worst almost dead. The rest of the book was so stunning and just as intense and hairy. I so can't wait for bk 3.

Another Great Read!
This is the second book in the trilogy and it did not disappoint. Started right off from where book 1 finished and puts you in an emotional rollercoaster.
The book does end in a cliffhanger but don't let that stop you as this series by Everly Frost is an amazing read and won't let you down!

I love Everly Frost series - but this one is a slow burn for me. I’m not entirely even sure what it is that’s holding that 1 1/2 stars for ransom as the characters are interesting and the storyline has me curious…

This hooked me right in and I stayed up way too late reading. I just love how you pick the story up right where it ended in the last book. There are many twists and turns that kept me guessing. Actively anticipating the next book after that cliffhanger, WOW!

I loved this book so much! There’s lots of action and intrigue and so much emotion. I really love the characters and Everly Frost’s worldbuilding is wonderful! There’s lots of twists and turns along the way and the cliffhanger is crazy! I need the next book now!
