For some, the end of life means eternity. Unfortunately, this eternity can be a particular nightmare, like for Zeke, who has to work as the Janitor of a world full of monsters. And they are not as troublesome as the humans.
I love how characters interactions and the bond that grows between them. It's a beautiful thing to see. I'm not very optimistic, tho, because if I get too invested in a character, they could suffer a slow and painful death. The author loves those big red splashes of color in the pages, which gives the whole book a very unique look. The destination may or may not be a good one, but the way there is one of the most immersive and heartfelt experiences I've had reading a comicbook. Totally worth reading.

On the second book we get to know a new character, a human trapped on this world by accident. The stakes get higger as the protagonists try to mantain a certain level of "normality" as to not be discovered as deviants. The theme of human conection and how that helps us cope with trauma is a plus.
