Surreal, suspenseful, and thought-provoking, 24 is a book about Oliver Battolo's journey, as he comes to terms with the unexpected death of his father, and in the process discovers that he had been harboring a bizarre secret.
Set in the year 2022, Oliver learns how to slay demons past and present, as he unravels the mystery that leads him to secrets hidden in paintings, returning characters from childhood fantasies, alchemy, and somehow, bitcoin.
Bitcoin and Bitcoin vs altcoin knowledge 5 stars Story and writing 4 stars Bitcoiners thinking they are experts in everything else 1 star Bitcoin has such amazing potential to do so much good to make a more peaceful and just world from making it harder to wage war, helping the unbanked, and reducing the ever-increasing wealth gap. This book touches on some of that. Unfortunately, too much Libertarian nonsense slips in on most of these folks who see themselves as the true “alphas” who don’t need to participate in society or support things like fire departments and libraries. The worst thing is how many of them are often the most cringe when it comes to shrinking the circle of compassion with their climate denying, killing animals is green, anti-science macho BS. This book will drop a bit of wisdom on the economy and then spout nonsense like how hunting and eating mostly dead animal flesh is healthy and sustainable for 8 billion humans. I implore every reader to use this book for the orange pill but get real education for the green pill. Watch Cowspiracy, visit the Carnism dot org website, read ‘The World Peace Diet’ by Dr. Will Tuttle or ‘Why we love dogs, eat pigs, and wear cows’ by Melanie Joy, or any of the books on abolition by Dr. Gary Francione. Bitcoin has real value and not all who see that follow the RFK nonsense. Check out ‘A Progressive’s Case for Bitcoin’ by C. Jason Maier or ‘Money Love and Bitcoin’ by Paul J. Rogers. This book is a nice read about how changing how we store our energy (money) can heal so many of the world’s ills but only if not co-opted by speciesist, selfish, and arrogant nonsense.
