Midas Touch
Midas is a man that sets the bar high for himself. He’s successful and has the ability to make everything around him excel. There are so many layers to him that even he has yet to explore them all. Being blindsided by love and deceived so many times in the name of love can make the strongest man turn away and decide that love just isn’t in the cards. That’s until he meets a woman that makes him retract his own words.
Nayvius aka Goof is the definition of laughing through the pain to stay sane. He’s young and paid and still has a lot of maturing to do. Feeling like he’s alone in the world with no family, he meets a woman and ends up discovering the remedy to help mend his soul.
Princess navigates through life living fast and finding comfort in a man that’s selfish and manipulative. She’s torn between two men, one that could make her be a better woman and the other man who plays on her weaknesses and could potentially be her downfall.
Jaiden is confident, and also the definition of a strong black woman taking care of her two young children. She’s in college and works hard to be able to provide. Jaiden goes hard for the people she cares about but when it’s all said and done who will go hard and be there for her?

I truly think, Midas Touch, has a unique twist on the story of Cain and Abel. The author did a fantastic job capturing my attention from the opening scene. I love that the title and cover does not give much insight on what the book entails. The author does a great job making the characters memorable and explains their behaviors in detail. While there were many characters, I never felt overwhelmed. In fact, I felt like I knew the characters and their stories. A few themes included are sibling rivalry, found family, and opposites attract.
In the beginning, Princess showed up to Midas’ home and received an unexpected surprise. Unbeknownst to Princess, life as she knew it would never be the same. The story fast-forwards to present time and things look completely different for the characters. The core group of characters are Midas, Jaiden, Histori, Princess, and Goof.
Midas is a man of integrity and has strong core values; he rules his legal and illegal businesses with a no-nonsense demeanor. I am glad I stayed the course and learned the ‘why’ behind Midas’ behavior, because it made me put my feelings aside and appreciate his growth. Histori is selfish, and I will not show any grace when karma comes to collect. I found myself smiling so hard from Goof and Jaiden’s storyline. I don’t know what it is but something about Goof just does it for me. I think the most complicated character is Princess and I am eager to see what happens with her character because she continued to hold herself back. There are a few background characters that sparked my attention and I am curious to see what comes from their storylines.
Overall, this book had me deep in my feelings, while simultaneously ready to shake the characters. It has a good balance of love and drama, and the plot twists- wow! I could not get over how different this story was and it just shows that sometimes that your biggest hater could be your family. WHEW! Get into this one!!

As always you never disappoint! I swear every new story you right it gets better and better! I love Nayvis &Jaiden they both need real love and happiness! Midas he a real one for sure and he needs a real lady on his side! I’m not really feeling princess and I hope she is getting her life together and become a better person fr! I need book 2 immediately

What a ride!
Baby this book had be constantly saying “OMG!” “WOW!” “I know not!” There was so much going on and i loved it all. Midas is definitely that man and he knows how not to bring a lot of attention his was. Especially for what he does that’s how you move and he handle business.
The spice is hot!!!!
The twist and turns of who is related to whom is crazy and princess just had to be in the mix.
The author touches on a lot as well.
-Princess is the type of woman that mess up men like Midas for the rest of us that actually keep real. However, her surroundings and how she was brought has a lot to do with who she is now. A mom that is hateful towards her daughter but her son and baby daddy get away with everything under the sun. Yet she still loves them with everything in her.
-Jaiden is someone who is deserving of a lot but just didn’t know how to fully get there. Going to school to better herself for her kids while also keeping a big grown baby around. People please realize sooner than later YOU DO NOT NEED TO STAY IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PERSON YOU HAVE A KID WITH. Goof and Jaiden are too cute.
-Goof has had so much pain that he truly has gotten to the point of laughing through it all. However, he seem very loyal and like he would actually be a good family man. I like him.
-Histori is the type you don’t need as a friend or be around period. Too much heat and thinks he’s God gift to the world. He will get you messed up following behind him.
-Diamond aka Logic his mother was dead wrong. I got high hopes for him and his dad’s relationship. Hopefully things go right. Fingers crossed.

The way I just screamed!!!…You definitely left all kinds of crumbs and pieces with this book!!!…Not Princess having the brother, the daddy and the son!!!…I was NOT ready!!!…I LOVE ME some Goof and I can not wait to see what becomes of him and Jaiden!!!…
It broke my heart to hear what happened to Aubrey as a child!!!…Almost brought me to tears!!!…You truly never know a person’s story!!!…I wonder who will be telling Jaiden that the very woman she was excited to give her number to is her mother!!!…

When You Don't Follow Your First Mind.
Masterpiece. Great read. When I tell you how much I loved Midas and Goof. They may have been hard around the area but they were loyal and loved hard.
I'm not really feeling Princess. She just needs to sit down and take some self inventory for real. I'm loving Jaiden for finally beginning to love herself.
I see the source is still around. I'm hoping Diamond and Midas will have a good relationship. I wonder if Jaiden and Ms. Jackson will understand the true events that happened. Waiting for the next part.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Princess was looking for love in the wrong brother, but how could she seek love when her family never gave her any. Mann this had sooo many twists and turns. The things that are happening I didn't think was going to go on. It's so crazy how all of the characters are connected somehow and clearly it's going to get more strange. Princess gotta get some real direction, I can see her in us women for sure but at some point we all gotta say enough is enough. Jaiden slowly making a way for herself, she took the first steps in getting that fool of a baby daddy away from her. Aubrey and Logic is going to be a great addition but I can't wait to see how Midas and Goof handle it.

All I have to say is this book starts off with a twist and it only gets better. Princess is a chic looking for acceptance and motherly love. Because of those issues she finds herself in a twisted situation but only is affected by Midas. Jaden is a great person, friend and mother but what she endured is not on her she deserves happiness and I think she may have found it. This book is good I’m waiting for book 2

Goof is my absolute favorite, even tho it’s called the Midas Touch, ion care for him either. Great read. Hopefully I can grow to like Midas cause he ain’t it for me this book.

Really good book
This story had my emotions everywhere. One moment I was shaking my head at the characters, the other moment I was laughing at Gooch. The characters are well written, and I liked the twists and turns. I can't wait to see what happens next because these characters lives are closely knit.

Unrealistic
This story is kind of ridiculous, Princess is for the streets, the crew, everybody, Midas is a simp who talks a lot and backs up very little, he always getting played, and how did he not have his mother protected??? Everybody doing everything and everyone in this little circle, move around, dang! I don't care for this.

Ready for part 2. It took me a while to read this book. I really couldn't get into the book like most of your books. I still continued to read it. Once I finally got into the book it ended with to be continued. Part 2 me quick because I know all the drama is going to explode.
