Cain Voss is a white-collar family man who has lost everything, his family included, at the hands of his own tragic accord — But there was a worthwhile reason as to why he made the choice that he did. Now, being on the run from an unlikely acquaintance, he must decide how far he’s willing to go to regain the life that he once knew for the sake of his wife, his daughter, and most importantly, himself.
I don't read as much as I should, and I don't write as much as I'd like to. Life gets in the way sometimes.
Right now I'm focusing on school. Writing has taken a backseat to things that I feel are more important right now. I have no doubt I'll get back into writing, and finish my novel, but right now I just don't have the time.
I’ve never read a book that had so many details that made you feel as if you were in the book. The stories within the story, the connections, the intertwining between characters - it all flows so well. It was a small struggle to begin because I wasn’t sure what I was walking into, but this was well worth the read. So many details come into play within the novel, rather than given in the beginning of the book, which keeps you on your toes. And the ending? Beautiful. I wasn’t sure where it was going, but I enjoyed it very much. I just wish Donna had some part in the end, but that’s my own wish. If you’re looking for a detailed short read, I highly suggest you check out this book. It’s very much worth the read.
