God wants to draw you closer to himself this Advent-and what better way to do that than through His Word?
In this new installment of the Rejoice! series, you will be immersed in the readings that anchor us during the Advent season–the Sunday Mass readings.
This year's Advent pilgrimage will bear fruit in your life as Jesus comes to live more fully in your heart, and you experience greater joy and peace throughout the Advent season and beyond.

Father Mark Toup’s book led me through a very prayerful journey this Advent. I was able to discern face to face with God the Father and it was such a gift. Advent is undeniably my favorite season. I feel that the nothingness of the weeks leading up to the Incarnation allow me to feel more Heaven on Earth. One of the best part’s of this book is a devotion from early in the second week of advent. Father Mark teaches about the impact of seeing yourself as God sees you rather than protecting your self-image onto Him. He wrote about St. Ignatius’s method of spending the first few minutes of prayer trying to see yourself through God’s eyes. Wow. This not only changed my prayer, but my perspective of my own soul. This was my second year preparing my heart for Christmas with “Rejoice!” and I will do it again next year too! Praise be to God for the soul who listens to the call to write a beautiful journey through Advent for many hearts to prepare for Him.
Very marginal. The meditations are ok, but the book is severely disjointed. The “for your prayer” sections are not related to the meditations and seem to have been chosen completely randomly. This is supposed to be an Advent study, but there is almost nothing in the first 3 weeks that could link it to Advent. I will not lead a Rejoice program again (it was not popular).
Rejoice! An advent pilgrimage into the heart of scripture is an amazing advent resource. It takes the reader into a joy-filled journey through the Bible. The meditations are especially exceptional and give the book great depth.
This is not the correct edition. I read year c but could not find it here. Fr. Mark makes every advent and lent more meaningful with these daily reflections that make you dig deep within. Beautiful! Highly recommend for everyone. This years book also had a family section to share
