A Thrilling Journey!

I just feel like I just went on a crazy ride at Six Flags! Axel is one of the most devilish and devious characters I've ever read about. He has a few shocking secrets and loves weak women, but when he meets Giselle he's definitely mistaken. Giselle can go toe to toe and match his crazy, and after he does the unthinkable he finds out. His brother Creed seemed like quite the calm character, but he surprised me eventually. The ending was surprising, and I want to see where this crazy ride ends up. I could tell the author did research and or is already knowledgeable about the different careers mentioned, and that makes a big difference because it made everything make sense and kept the story cohesive. A good read for sure!

I really enjoyed this book. All of the characters had so many interesting layers to them that it kept me engaged and anxious to see what was going to happen next. Axel….he is one for the books, controlling, aggressive, and paranoid. He had so many secrets and he was willing to do anything to keep them under wraps. Giselle in live with her best friends and scared to tell him. Creed…out of all the characters he pissed me off the most lol. I thought I knew what he was about but he proved me wrong. Overall this book is a thriller with so many twists that will leave you shocked. I highly recommend!!

Thank you to the author Keira N. James for allowing me to be apart of her arc team.

Wait... Hold up 😒

Not me over here thinking, great we have closure, then BOOM! Did you for real just end the book like that and there ain't no part 2 yet? We are definitely about to have some words, so prepare to meet me in the inbox in your white dress!
This author is literally the queen of euphemisms. This is my third book of hers and so many of her descriptions have made me laugh out loud, like when she said, "he whooped his a$$ from the land of the free to the home of the brave” 😂 The book was extremely well written, although the main character, Giselle, got on every single nerve until she reached the last one. I felt like she was just making way too many stupid decisions and every one of them irked my soul. And I'm still trying to figure out where all this audacity was on clearance so I can go buy some because Axle's behavior given his entire "situation," he needed to have a seat somewhere and definitely should have had longer therapy appointments.

Revenge is a dish best served cold 🌨

Keira N. James' "The Con Artist" delves into a world where Giselle, Axel, Creed, and Teagan are entangled in a web of relationships fraught with secrets and deception. As the story unfolds, it becomes apparent that two individuals within this complex dynamic harbor unspoken feelings for one another. However, their chance at love is put to the test when ultimatums are given.

James' strength as an author shines through in her ability to craft stories that keep readers on their toes, revealing unexpected surprises and twists along the way.

If you are looking for a jaw-dropping thriller, you will love,“The Con Artist.”

I loveeeeee me a psychological thriller ! And when I kept seeing this one, it was a no brainer I had to read. So jumping right in while reading the prologue I was like wtf you do that baby you coulda got whatever you needed without doing that lol obviously bc we don’t know what he wants yet. As the book progresses and the first surprise hits, I said STOP! That’s why you did that?!! The tea is hottttttttttttt 🤭. The second and third surprise or shock had me like ladyyyy im just a girl gimme a second pleaseee 🤣! So basically if you want a book that’ll have you talking to yourself and shocked in the same breath, I highly recommend reading this beauty ✨

A lot of crazy s* going on! Axel was siicckkkk! I’m glad the author didn’t go into detail on every single thing he did, but I could tell she was hinting at more. I thought it was funny how the author would be talking about a specific character as if they were unknown to the reader, example, “the rookie detective” and “the petty Betty”. Like what? Lol . It was weird but hilarious. Some of the events could’ve been laid out a bit better, but overall was pretty good.

I stayed up to 3am finishing this, it was that good!

The first book I’ve read by Keira James and it did not disappoint! Axel was a piece of work… but that ending… that’s how you end a book!
Please hurry up with the next one if it’s not already out.

The Con Artist

From the very beginning, it was clear that this book was going to be a captivating read. Kiera N. James certainly did not disappoint. The story was filled with non-stop action from the first chapter, where we meet Kaylah. As the early chapters unfold, we are introduced to Giselle, Axel, Creed, and Torrance. The web of deceit woven within this group keeps the tension high as each layer is unraveled. My emotions ranged from amazement to anger, disgust, and the desire for revenge as I delved into the story. This book delivered everything I had hoped for.
