I enjoyed reading this, though at times it took too long to get to the action. I became so impatient while reading the nine pages introducing Marni and her ambition that when I got to the first sex scene, which also dragged on and on for just the foreplay, I skipped the next five pages. I have no trouble reading sex scenes, but this one took too long and I never felt I missed anything by skipping it. With Hunter and Marni both valuing multiple assets in each other aside from their physical attraction, all of which were shown in the story, the love aspect was nicely believable. Their falling in love so quickly was mostly believable, given their enforced proximity for so many days. The cover shown is different from the edition I read, and seems slapped on from some other book, with almost nothing in common with the book's contents.
Marnie Clare is a reporter that gets a tip on a big story. She finds out the FBI agent in charge of the case will be taking a train across the country for the trial, and she finds a way to get on the train. Problem is, she ends up being double booked into the same berth as Michael Hunter. Quick, sexy story with likable characters.
Part of a 2 for one special (Midnight Special / Coming on Strong). While giving it 'I liked it' rating, I know I have more interesting stories waiting my attention. Cute with lots of sex but at times a bit boring.
