K. A. Gandy was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is married with two babies of her own. K. A. has worked as a restaurant hostess, library book shelver, ranch hand, tour guide, Realtor, tech whiz, landlord, and small business consultant, all in addition to pursuing her passion of writing. As a person of many interests, her life has never been boring.

She likes to write late in the evenings and thinks drinking hot tea and baking great cookies fuels hopes and dreams.

This the third and final instalment of the Endless Desert Trilogy and what a great conclusion, although maybe the door has been left open for another? Nyx lives in the wastelands in a world where water is very scarce but some have realised that Nyx is the key to solving the water shortage and they want to use that key with no regard to Nyx's safety or wellbeing. This is a really well written book with great characters and an unpredictable story - a great read.

This continued to story of Nyx, her brother Chase and her boyfriend River in a land where water is scarse and dwindling.

Due to Nyx having in an earlier tome a special pendant she has some special strengths and also the key to saving what is left in the world.

Many try to thwart her....some help like a new found scary relative.

This is their journeys down caverns to revive water sources..... this journey is perilous..... because of the environment and other people.

This book ends the series and it brings hope!

An excellent third part to this exciting, new dystopian series! A great couple of main characters, well rounded as is the plot & story line. Well written, so well that I finished in absolutely no time at all! Such a great adventure! I do love this authors style & the energy in her books! I do recommend!

Descendants of Rust is the final foray of the Endless Desert trilogy into a dystopian world where water is currency. The protagonist's quest concludes within an immersive backdrop, making it a compelling read for fans of young adult fiction. While the novel successfully captures the essence of its 'wasteworld' setting, I personally found that the sections of the plot occasionally drag on, with some scenes added for drama feeling a little forced, and the ending leaning toward predictability. Nevertheless, for those seeking an engaging dive into the realms of speculative fiction, the full trilogy remains a worthy addition to the genre.

The greatest survival series!

This book was exciting from the first page to the last. I couldn't put it down until my eyes were closing each night. The story was exciting and fast paced. The many different people were written so that I was able to visualize each one. The author has magic in her writing; I could feel the heat of the desert, feel the blowing sands and cooling at night. I disappointed that there wasn't another another book to kook forward to reading. I recommended this series
to my husband and best friend.

Amazing story! A must read for Dystopian lovers!!

This book, as well as, the first two books in this series, was amazingly well written. I love the way the facts at the end of the book are woven into the story. I also really like the way the story ends and hope there will be another book in this series. The fun facts at the end of the book are excellent. I’ve read all of Mrs. Gandy’s books and am so looking forward to her next one!

This is my first time reading a book in this genre and have totally enjoyed it. The main character Nyx is a total giving type of person. There was a lot of intrigue and drama in this book and difficult to put the story down once starting it.

Great series.

Fast pace clean story enjoyed reading this story hated to put it down keep me reading late into the night to see what would happen next. .like that no swearing language or sex .Hope to read more of this author soon.
