Yet ANOTHER winner from Meryl Sawyer! Things were going well for Royce Anne Winston, a top journalist engaged to one of San Francisco's wealthiest men, until a kiss in the dark with an old flame ignited a maelstrom of events that threatened to destroy her life. Charged with theft, cocaine possession and eventually murder, Royce is in a heap of trouble and unsure of whom to trust.

With so many possible suspects and motives -- and twists and turns galore -- I couldn't figure this one out until the end. (At some point, I had accused each and every one of them with conviction...and then promptly changed my mind.) Very suspenseful and romantic. Four-and-a-half stars!
