Questa storia è ambientata in una scuola nell'America rurale (e povera), ma per certi aspetti poteva essere una scuola italiana. È terrificante vedere come certi politici qui e là stiano minando l'educazione delle giovani generazioni: la storia e la scienza sono malviste, anzi è tutta la cultura che viene minata perché non si vuole che le persone siano capaci di pensare con la propria testa, soprattutto di capire cosa sia vero e cosa siano falsità dette per comodo politico. È disturbante vedere dove il nostro mondo stia precipitando.
Detto questo, la storia era interessante e sono felice che un giovane alla fine abbia la possibilità di crearsi un futuro nonostante una situazione familiare a dir poco infelice.

Discipline

Children need discipline as well as adults. Sad to say, but children learn bad habits from parents as well as who and what they associate with. This mystery has tried to make people stop and think! Some will, but many will not.
