This was a pleasant book to read over my breakfast cereal this month. The short chapters with interesting facts and stories about various Christian hymns made it easy to pick up and put down without any real investment of time. Many of my beloved favorites were made the more special once the story of their origins was known.
The writing style seemed sometimes a bit hokey, and there were technical/grammatical errors that an editor should have caught.
