Proof of a divine Creator is not to be found in the Bible but compelling evidence is found in astronomy and in biology. Surprisingly, the real identity of Yahweh may be deduced from biblical texts. The most memorable figures from the Old Testament include Noah, Abraham, Moses and kings David & Solomon - one might expect these found international rec- ognition, with references to their exceptional feats in the his- torical record of surrounding adjacent cultures. But, only one of these heroes has been verified, one appears to be adopted from another culture, one surprises by his total invisibility and the youngest are acknowledged only by an isolated and obscure fragment. Second Edition printed January 2021.
My motivation is to resolve historical enigmas and find out what really happened in our past.
Before going to high school, my main interests were cosmology and ancient civilizations. My career, in senior finance roles, involved long hours and numerous corporate transactions working with lawyers and accountants. I never had time to read for pleasure. However, the focus on factual and numerical accuracy combined with verification of supporting evidence has lent itself to my writing in retirement.
My research has benefitted from scanning across many disciplines – including astronomy, atomic physics, vulcanology, terraforming, geology, biology, climatology, archaeology and its more recent cousin, astro-archaeology. Human knowledge in these fields has been transformed during my working life. I have also applied some of these disciplines to understanding the Bible, when its books were likely written, why key edits were made and identifying deliberate translation errors. Also, why almost all original texts were hunted down and destroyed after being declared heretical in support of newly invented dogma changing original Christian beliefs. Many authoritatively documented changes will astonish conventional Christians.
Conventional accounts of history are overwhelmingly derived from written records, other disciplines which could shed light on paradoxes and enigmas are shunned. It seems to me that much of tenured academia is trapped in narrow chimneys of thinking and rarely looks to other disciplines for verification.
My interests may be summarised as: understanding the evolution of our universe, the evolution of our planet leading to the emergence of humanity and possible civilised cultures pre-dating the conventionally accepted earliest Egyptian and Sumerian. I am fascinated by how humanity evolved its definition of a divine creator. To my surprise, we now have proof (to sixth sigma standard) that an incredible intelligence was responsible for the design of our universe, but nothing in the Bible comes near equivalent verification whilst much is clearly anachronistic or factually incorrect.
My findings astonished me and led me to write. Initially I just got books printed and gave them to friends that were interested but many readers persuaded me to publish.
Thank you to the wonderful author, Glyn Thomas, for the copy of this book! 🧠📖✨
Wow. This book was a total rabbit hole—and I mean that in the best way. It's like unlocking a cosmic jigsaw puzzle where each piece reshapes what you thought you knew about ancient history, religion, and divine identity. 🔍🌌 While it’s dense in parts and packed with big ideas, I found it fascinating to follow Glyn Thomas through his bold and deeply researched exploration of humanity’s oldest gods and the astronomical, biological, and historical clues pointing to something greater.
This isn’t light reading—it’s deep, reflective, and asks you to question narratives we often take for granted. If you’ve ever been curious about the true identity of Yahweh or wondered why some biblical figures have no footprint in world history, this book takes that curiosity and runs with it. Full speed. 🏃♀️💨
• What I Loved • • The blend of science and ancient text felt daring and refreshing 🧬📜 • Raised compelling questions about cultural mythology and the origin of gods 🌍⚡ • A strong voice backed with extensive research and references 📚🔍 • Philosophically rich and engaging for anyone drawn to comparative religion or ancient aliens 🛸🛕 • The section discussing astronomy in relation to divine creation was super eye-opening 🌌👁️
• What Was Tricky • • The text can be a little dense at times and may feel academic to casual readers 🧠📘 • Assumes some prior familiarity with Sumerian myth, biblical scholarship, and comparative religion 🧾🧙 • Could use a touch more narrative flow between sections—it jumps perspectives occasionally 🌀📖 • Some bold claims that will either electrify or challenge your beliefs—be prepared! ⚡❓
Final Thoughts: This book is for the thinkers, the skeptics, the truth-seekers, and the quietly rebellious souls who like their history a little cosmic and their theology a little controversial. It’s not here to confirm what you already believe—it’s here to rattle the cage. And honestly? I’m into that. 😈🪐
