Known as "The King of the Westerns," "The Cowboy Author," and "The King of the Pulps," Walt Coburn ruled the roost for decades when it came to Western fiction. His work appeared in virtually every important Western magazine and became the standard by which other Western fiction was judged. Now, three of his greatest short novels are presented in all their original glory. This classic collection includes "Coffin Ranch," a novel of the Wild Bunch, some of whom Coburn knew personally. Here is the West as it could only be depicted by someone who lived and breathed it.

A WC. Biography from birth to death/The Life of A Cowboy at the upturn of the 20th Century.
WC. has. penned a biography wrapped in factual events in most places, but with the truth stretched in others. He was raised in Coffin Ranch and received big range not status until killing a man in a bar fight. He and his partnered the ranch for Mexico with a map for stolen gold from a train robbery. Afterwards he led a normal life until he became a pilot in World War I. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
