In this modern-day dilemma, Talia faces a crucial the charming figure from the secret prom date or the reformed Rowan. As the clock ticks, she must navigate the complexities of her heart and decide who holds the key to her happily ever after.
Was hoping for a cute story but honestly I think it’s a me issue, I don’t think I’m the target demographic for this.
I didn’t connect with Talia or Rowan, some of the characteristics described at the beginning had no significance in the story. I had a hard time understanding Talia and how she can stand by just being emotionally manipulated by her “friends”.
Lots of editing errors, at one point I was so confused because it went from first person to third person back to first… Talia said Rowan’s name yet she still hadn’t discovered it was him so I kept rereading pages to see if I missed something crucial only to realize it was an editing mistake…
It's an okay book. There are many times when the incorrect word or spelling is used, and at one point, the author changes the main male character's name from Rowan to Reece. Otherwise, this is just a copy of the movie A Cinderella Story. I wouldn't bother reading it until they update the Kindle version with all the correcrions.
Cute light read. Entertaining, but definitely in need of edits. I can understand missing a spelling error here and there but names main character names were wrong/misspelled and used when they shouldn’t have been (secret prom date and all).
I thought this storyline had so much potential but just fell shy of it. It's supposed to be about a bad boy and I never really felt like his character was. Timing seemed off in certain areas and I absolutely did not like the ending.
I dunno. I wanted to read this for the tension and drama behind the idea. Some tension came up, but the FMC seemed too mature for her age and that made it boring.
What was wrong with this book? Pretty much everything. Loads of editorial errors. Plot holes. Contradictions. Ridiculously awkward dialogue. Not to mention it was supposed to be a Cinderella retelling, and there was really no hint of that at all. One star.
