DNF. I was so bored, I quit at page 72. They both talked everything to death. Have sex, then after sex, talk to your sister. Then Your firefighter buddies. Too much conversation, not enough plot, conflict or theme. Sorry I'm done!

Unfortunately we are 4 days into the new year and I have my 1st DNF.
I refuse to give it less than 2 stars because 1) the author took time to write it and publish it and 2) it seems like it coule be a really cute and spicy read.
My problem is the conversations between the characters seemed to awkard and exaggerated at points. Ie: that is a lovely story. Thank yoh for sharing it with me....these 2 are supposed to have chemisty? Seems like a really bad first date. The in between mush seems too over explained. I don't need an entire chapter on why you decided to make your career choice.

This is the second book I have read that Iris Willson has written and I loved them both. With that being said, it is this book that has stolen my heart though. Iris grabbed my attention from the very beginning of the story. Honestly, the book just kept getting better and better with each page I turned. If you want an original plot then look no further. The plot for this book was completely different from any other book I have personally read. When an author manages to achieve this it always surprises me. Seriously, I have read more books than I can keep track of and I have never read anything similar to Rescue Me Twice. Iris delivered a story that was intriguing, exciting, and entertaining with absolutely wonderful characters. Iris has written a beautiful love story. It is a reminder that we shouldn't let fear hold us back from letting our hearts feel love. Seriously, life can change in a moment never to the same as we once knew it.
Theo is a super hot and sexy firefighter who doesn't have time for relationships and is only interested in one night stands. Theo takes his job seriously and loves being a firefighter. Amelia has relocated to NY for her new job. The day she moves into her new apartment she meets her neighbour Theo who is a fireman, instantly both feel an attraction to one another. Later that day Theo goes to her apartment with a bottle of wine and Amelia invites him in to share a meal she has just cooked. During the meal they get on really well and end up chatting into the night. Things get a bit more heated and they end up sleeping together.
Amelia quickly settles in NY and makes 2 new friends at her new job, she also enjoys her time with Theo when they can meet up. Things seem to be going really well for her until she is involved in an accident which leaves her with amnesia. Luckily her sister lives in NY and helps Amelia once she is home together with her new friends. It's frustrating for Amelia being surrounded by these new people who seem to know her but she doesn't remember any of them or any of her time since moving to NY. But Theo is patient and gentle with her, helping out when he is not at work.
Theo realises he has fallen hard and fast for Amelia. He hopes that Amelia's memories will come back but decides he needs to look forward and focus on the future and make new memories with her and that hopefully the attraction will be felt once more between them.
A feel good book, with a good storyline and a HEA.

They start spending snippets of time together, between his shifts at work and her new job that starts a few days after she moved in. They share an experience being trapped in their apartment elevator and then he's part of the crew that pulls her from the aftermath of an accident.
The book was written by a new to me author. I like how she tells the story from both of the main characters, Amelia and Theo. There are a few more characters in the book that give it more depth and make the story more realistic. I would definitely read more of the author's work.

I really enjoyed reading this book about Amelia and Theo. The characters in the story were both strong and leaped off the pages, the storyline was great and hot and spicy. Amelia has just moved to New York City for her new job and has just moved into the apartment next door to Theo who is a New York city firefighter. It’s attraction at first sight but soon develops into a beautiful romance, especially after Amelia is involved in an accident Theo is there beside her to help her and especially was there to rescue her. There is a happy ending and lots of feel good emotions.

Things are progressing nicely with the couple until Amelia sustains an injury which causes amnesia. She has no memories at all of Theo.
Theo isn't ready to give up on Amelia and patiently works on rebuilding their relationship. Will Amelia ever remember him or feel the same towards him?
Such a sweet and heartwarming story. I just loved it.

Amelia moves to New York and when see meets her next door, neighbor, Theo, she's pretty taken with him from the beginning. He's a fire fighter and she can see that his clothes hide a muscular body. The first night they meet, they drink together and then she tells him she wants to see him strip (she doesn't seem to have much trouble speaking her mind). Later, she's trapped in an elevator with Theo and she's glad to not be alone. But when an accident leaves Amelia without any memory of her time in New York, will Theo be able to remind her of the sparks between them?
This a cute story with a happily ever after.

Theo, a firefighter and Amelia a recent transplant from Wisconsin meet in the apartment building they both live in. Chemistry definitely is in the air between these two. Moving along quickly they become involved. Theo continues to perform duties as a firefighter and Amelia begins her new job in New York. Then something unthinkable happens and the two who just started a relationship are back at square one. Enjoy the read to find out what is the final outcome.

When he saw a blonde woman that transferred next to him. He asked her to help her carrying the heavy boxes.
If you want to know if Theo found his true love just grab this book .

This was almost a DNF book for me, it had it's sweet moments but that was it, and the amnesia part wasn't really needed. Their relationship was so shallow at that point so it would have been more exciting if it happend when they were officially dating and there were more challenges.
A really shallow written book but I can't really complain too much, the book has 250 pages so there isn't that much room for a detailed and eventful story.
All in all, it's a cute book but wouldn't recommend it

I absolutely LOVED everything about Rescue Me Twice. The genre, the characters, the SEXY as SIN cover, the entire book was fantastic. What I enjoyed as well is the spice that was hot, and the characters was perfect. So, turn your fan on and sit back and enjoy reading this really awesome book about Theo and Amelia who will have you hot and bothered over their relationship and life's adventures.

If you like smoking hot firemen who go after what they want then this is for you.
The character growth through out is phenomenal and it makes for an amazing read. The story between the FMC and MMC is sweet and steamy, the perfect blend.
I personally enjoyed how the FMC compared baking/cooking to a way of relaxing. It’s a hobby she thoroughly enjoyed.
Seriously you don’t wanna miss this read.

This is a good story about Theo a firefighter and Amelia who moves in next door The pair are instantly attracted to each other and have good chemistry and are inseparable until Amelia has a car accident and loses her memory. Theo stays by her side and they build on their love and new memories A wonderful story

Incredible story. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was save me. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn’t even imagine put it down. This was one of my favorite books. I really loved it. I especially loved the fact on how Theo would be nervous around Amelia and how he would not stop thinking about her. I couldn't stop reading this book it was very very hot. Love love love. And I would definitely read it again.

Nice and short book with fast burn strong characters. Amelia and Theo are neighbors with instant attraction. Page turner of a must read with a firefighter as the hero!

I loved reading this book! I am so glad that Amelia and Theo were able to overcome her memory loss and make everything work out.

Warm, loving story of healing for both characters. Both Theo and Amelia have depth to their characters and in-site into what they want and need out of their lives. They had both had a traumatic event in their lives that they are healing from with help of each other. A must read by all. Heat level for me was a 3.
