PLEASE NOTE that the paperback version of Hummingbird includes Hummingbird, Hummingbird: Part Two and a special four-chapter bonus epilogue!
Fourteen years ago I met a woman I've not been able to forget.
Her hair was long, her eyes were big, and her gaze kept returning to me from across the room. Her name was Dove. She told me she was straight and I respected that. Or rather, I got grumpy about it and walked away. What can I say? I was young and stupid.
But now she's back. Sitting in my studio waiting to get a tattoo of the bisexual flag on her foot. I never do such small pieces anymore but this woman is different. I've never been able to forget her and I never thought I'd see her again. Nor did I ever imagine she could possibly be interested...
One thing's for certain, I'm not going to walk away from this opportunity. I want to do everything I can to make sure Dove never forgets me either.
Hummingbird is a spicy sapphic novella with sexy times in a tattoo studio, Domme/sub vibes, and a very swoony HEA.
Frances M. Thompson writes stories about bisexual disaster heroes usually getting the HEAs they deserve in her spicy contemporary romance... but sometimes getting into a lot of trouble in her suspense thrillers.

3,25/5 The red flags from Kay in the first chapters almost made me drop the book,I'm glad after years she realised her mistakes and changed herself tho.
Very cute but also spicy, very enjoyable .But I wouldn't recommend this to someone who's new to queer culture
This one was a little rough. I was intrigued by the concept of a Tattoo artist x client second chance romance, but I found the story a bit disjointed. We started with their first encounter at a party and then we jump forward a decade to the tattoo appointment that would consume the majority of the book.
There were some good tidbits about the characters in there, but I felt that both only got to be surface level characters in the amount of time we had with them. The tattoo appointment getting steamy also took me out of it. It was one of those 'if I don't look too hard at it it was spicy' kind of smut. There was also essentially zero plot, as the majority of the book took place in one night.
