This book is for those who need encouragement right about now because they are fighting the cancer battle; they're walking through the shadowlands of cancer themselves. It's also for the caretakers—the ones who are equally in the fight, caring for their loved one, scrapping for all the help they can get. And it's for those whose friends are fighting the fight against cancer, to help them better understand all that their friend is going through. In short, it is for anyone who is walking through the shadowlands of cancer, or any trial. My prayer is that it will help us all to better know the One who promises to go with us, even through the valley of the shadow of death.

I highly recommend reading this book especially if you or someone you know is walking through something difficult like a cancer diagnosis. I also recommend if you are in the healthcare field. As a RN, this blessed me in so many ways. What a remarkable story to be able to read and see how God walks with us through the shadows.

I thought this book would mostly be the author detailing his experience with cancer. While he did share his story, this book was much more. I was encouraged and reminded to live life well and to keep my eyes on Jesus while facing trials of any kind.
I think that if you are going through cancer, or any health crisis, you will find this book to be a helpful and practical guide.
I highly recommend!

This was such a great book! It made me smile at times along with tears rolling down my cheek as I read about Roy & April's walking through the shadows. Together they were strong and their love and trust in our Lord helped carry them through this cancer journey. (Only those who need a miracle are qualified to see a miracle) Anyone who needs encouragement fighting cancer or serious health issues should read this book. I highly recommend it!

What a powerful message of faith, love, endurance, and perspective. It’s so easy to get caught up in everyday life. I’m humbled after reading this book! The Author details his fight with stage 4 cancer and what he has learned from his experience! He’s perspective on the other side of his journey shows that there is a light at the end of the shadows!
