Careful what you wish for!

Just a few days out from Christmas, five childhood friends reunite at a country fair being held in their hometown. After a few champagnes, they reveal the disappointments in their lives, especially their tragic romantic endeavors. It motivates them to embark on an adventure into the forest to an occult place where they used to make wishes when they were young. Under the light of a full moon, they each ask the universe to grant them the ideal man with the perfection of an idol.

There’s no romance in this short origin story, it's all about the genesis of the women’s tale.

Thanks for taking an interest in my books!
I'm a huge fan of paranormal romance, especially ones with lots of secrets and intrigues. I've also been into K-pop for years, which is why I decided to combine it with my passion for writing to create a completely unique paranormal series. It took over two years to create the complex storyline for the 'Idol Demons', which involves a group of friends and the fictitious idol group Sasin.
I create all the artwork, videos & music related to my stories, which takes loads of time but I absolutely love it. They inspire all kinds of wonderful ideas which I then integrate into my tales.
When I'm not writing or doing something related to it, I play PC games, watch my favorite idol groups, murder some plants, or attempt to do some craft while I listen to music. If shopping was a sport I could compete at elite level, and if when I go out to see a live band I'll be buzzing for days.
My day job is caring for the disabled, which is incredibly rewarding but the pay isn’t great. Thank goodness I find it so satisfying. I have a part-time feline friend, who I love to give tummy rubs when she isn't attacking my heels like a cougar.
I hope you enjoy the wonderful madness that is the Idol Demons series. The easiest way to stay up-to-date is to sign up to my newsletter via my website, or follow me on your favorite platform.

I love reading paranormal romance with adventure, but forget what you think you know about it. This is a fresh new twist with hints of witchy stuff and I’m dying to see how it comes out!

This series starts off with five friends: Amy, Melanie, Rachel, Maeve, and Caitlin. One drunken night, they make a wish inside a magical stone circle. And something was listening…
The story introduces the five women, their personalities, and gives a glimpse of their backstories. It sets up the premise for the series. It’s very short, but very well written. The story does its job and makes me want to read more.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A fast paced, short Christmas story with great dialogue. Loved the interaction between the group of friends, especially after they've had a few too many champagnes!
There's a lot of setup in here, but that's meant to be as it's an origin story. It's set in a real world country town holding a Christmas fair, which seems to have quite a few spooky secrets.

short intro. I guess the next books will be mainly one of the 5 ladies in this book and build off the wish they made. felt more like a teen book, but the ages are late 20s. I'm still interested in reading the next one to see how that goes.
