This was a fun Christmas novella.

This short story is about a woman named Zoe Monroe. She hasn’t seen her younger sister on their shared Christmas Eve birthday in five years. When a blizzard strands her at the airport on December 23rd, it looks like this year will be no different.

Fortunately a stranger in a Santa suit offers to share the last available hotel room with her. While he’s not who she’d planned to spend her Christmas with she can’t deny that he jingles her bells 🔔. Maybe this year she’ll make sure she ends up on Santa’s naughty list. I liked both Zoe and Guy sharing a hotel room together. They went out and played in the snow ❄️ and enjoyed their time together. This was an insta love story but I enjoyed this short fun novella.

so fricken cute what??? it truly is a miracle (a CHRISTMAS miracle, if you will) when a book so short tugs at my heart strings. it was perfect. my biggest tick off is the insta lovey hES ThE oNe fOR mE trope. and while I get there isn’t much time in novellas to properly set up the love story it still just doesn’t hit right - but this one? so cute!! AND there was a decent plot outside of the love story??? how was this only 70 pages. 5 stars!! (although I am turning a blind eye to the fact that Zoe was spelt as Zeo once… tsk tsk)

Argumento:

Zoe Monroe no ha visto a su hermana menor en su cumpleaños compartido de Nochebuena en cinco años. Cuando una tormenta de nieve la deja varada en el aeropuerto el 23 de diciembre, parece que este año no será diferente.

Afortunadamente, un sexy extraño vestido con un traje de Papá Noel se ofrece a compartir con ella la última habitación de hotel disponible. Si bien él no es con quien había planeado pasar la Navidad, no puede negar que él hace sonar sus campanas.

Tal vez este año se asegure de terminar en la lista traviesa de Santa...



Mi humilde opinión:

Qué pasa con los aeropuertos que pueden llevarte a conocer al amor de tu vida cuando tu vuelo se candela por mal tiempo? Y si es en época navideña y él está disfrazado de Santa Claus? De un sexy Santa? Entonces tu mal día se convierte en el mejor que te ha pasado en tu vida....

Él es alegre enfermero pediatra que viaja a Florida para ver a su padre en navidad. Ella es una gruñona azafata que después de mucho tiempo viaja a su casa para ver a su hermana para pasar juntas su cumpleaños en navidad.

Me gustó la historia de amor de Zoe y Guy. Linda, acogedora, divertida y sexy. Ellos cruzan miradas en el aeropuerto y es atracción instantánea. Ella no está de humor cuando él se le acerca con alguna broma y la deja con un bastón de caramelo. Después se vuelven a ver en un motel tras cancelar sus viajes y tienen que compartir el cuarto porque no hay vacantes. El destino parece juntarlos y ellos deciden hacer del tiempo de espera lo mejor que puedan empezando con una guerra de bolas de nieves y momentos sexys en la cama.

Los protagonistas eran muy distintos dónde Guy era alegre y abierto, Zoe era reservada y maldecía todo el tiempo. Me gustaban sus diferencias y lo bien que encajaban juntos a la vez.

Me gustó el final pero me quedé con ganas de saber más de Zoe y Guy! Hay mucho mas para contar de ellos. Quisiera saber sobre esa cita pendiente cuando regresen a casa. Esta autora me debe un epílogo!

Thoughts: This Christmas romance novella was short but sweet. I enjoyed both the MMC and FMC, as well as their character development in such a short amount of time. Given that it was a novella, some parts did feel a bit too straightforward and lacked detail. If you enjoy forced proximity and holiday romance, you’ll enjoy this book.

I loved this novella! It hooks you right from the start and you find yourself laughing and cheering for them. My favorite part is that Zoe is a little grouchy in the beginning, adding a more realistic view of how a typical person would act in that situation. Loved it and wished it was longer!

There’s nothing better than a one bed trope am I right? This was the perfect little spicy Christmas love story. A perfect palate cleanser and just overall a very good novella. I recommend if you like great writing. I couldn’t put this down!!

That was actually pretty sweet.
Being a novella, not long enough to go into depth, and too straightforward at times, but a pleasurable read overall.
