The Faith’s Creek Quilting circle welcomes a new member and helps her find the love waiting right in front of her.

New York Attorney Joanna King returns to her Amish roots in Faith’s Creek to celebrate her sister’s wedding. However, Joanna never expected an accident to keep her there for weeks. As her friends and family return to their regular lives, Joanna finds herself readjusting to the quiet life and reuniting with her childhood friend, Bertha.

Conrad Ganswein is a devout and earnest man who’s studying to become a Deacon for the Amish Community. He is happy to oblige when his sister asks him to escort her and an old friend to the quilting circle.

Joanna is not the best quilter but enjoys the new friendships. However, she finds herself looking forward to the rides to and from the quilting circle more than anything. She longs for her next conversation with Conrad. His passion for his faith captivates Joanna. He reminds her of everything she once loved in her Amish Community.

Joanna and Conrad are on a powerful journey of love, self-discovery, and spiritual awakening. They have a lot to teach each other but is love enough to keep these two very different people together?

Will Joanna leave Conrad behind to return to her busy life in New York? Is he willing to give up his path for love? Can a compromise help them find their true path to faith and lasting love together?

Heartwarming but with a slightly unbelievable, abrupt ending

This story proceeds in a believable and satisfying way, but the ending seems a bit abrupt. It would have been more believable with at least a hint of transition, such as Joanna being offered a temporary probono or public defender position in a New York suburb within commuting distance from Manhattan, and then transitioning to her new life.

Back to your roots

What a great story: Joanna comes home for her sisters wedding, but takes a fall and breaks her ankle. Conrad is in training to be a deacon but feels mostly called to reach the lost. As the story progresses and her faith returns, they look to a new future together back in New York.

A great story.

Joanna and Conrad's story I'd a wonderful love story, and it shows how God can bring two people with different beliefs together.
