Fate is on a role with the coming Noctambule war and the hurricane at our doorstep and my bat-bitten brother and now 13 demonic moles hiding in our swamp. But she sure twists the knife when I find an abused woman in Bullets' Hatch beaten by her husband, a member of the Viking clan who have lived at peace with the Bayou Bishops since its foundation. This crime, punishable by various shades of The Twelve's dark justice, means another clash to add to our fights.



Every decision I need to make is a threat that could upend my life and the precarious balance of our entire community. As usual, time is of the essence. And as usual, it is not on our side.

This makes the twelfth book in Lucian Bane's "Bayou Bishops" series and I promise you my heart still races every time I read one of these books. Getting to know Patches and Tegan was exhilarating, to say the least. And I just love Juliette. Once again, I can't give you a synopsis without giving away things because of all the moving parts within the storyline. If you haven't started the series, this is a must-read.

I have been reading this series faithfully since book one. The most enjoyable thing about these people is that they are all so larger than life. Each book goes back to characters from the previous one, reconnecting us to the personal demons that they have to fight. 8-Bit has had a near death experience, and Cat will fight to make him whole again. Felix, has decided that Nitro's episodes are connected to her, and she will help him gain control. Reagan has a battle she must win against dirty dealing women who don't approve of outsiders having any of the Twelve. It's all coming to a head. I absolutely love these characters. I would love to live around people like them. Five stars isn't nearly enough. I can't recommend this series, or this Author. The man writes bedroom scenes that cause hot flashs.

Patches and Tegan attraction explodes off the pages!! It masterfully addresses lingering questions from the previous installment while introducing new characters and adding layers of drama. The blend of action, spice, and intricate relationships creates an engaging reading experience. Bane has skillfully crafted not just a series, but an ongoing saga that captivates readers with its complexity and compelling narrative.

All the feels and heart pounding moments

It just keeps getting better and better with each book. There are so many heart pounding moments throughout this book that get you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for what’s going to happen next. Loving our Texas Tegan. She is a perfect combo of soft and sensitive but also tough and beautiful.

Another Outstanding installment in the Bayou Bishops series. If you haven’t tried this series you are missing out!! You’ll fall in love (or maybe a little more) with the characters and the Bayou❤️. Their moral code and staunch love and aggressive care for their family and community makes you want to be a part of them.

Lucian Bane his rapidly becoming my favorite author. The cast of characters is truly so well developed that you swear you live among them. Bring a category 5 hurricane barreling down on the bayou and you've got yet another erotic thriller worthy of 5 stars.

Well, things are picking up just like the wind of the hurricane that's headed for the swamp. Texas Tegan has landed, and Patches is on high alert. We also have the 3 heifers that Tegan has to deal with. My money is on her, Texas Tegan, all the way. I wonder if Nitro and Felix are going to be able to handle all the bat shit crazy that can happen. Ethan and Cat are trying to figure their stuff out. Hopefully, they can. Then we have Bullets, who just rescued Mia. What the heck is he going to do with her. I hope I've confused and intrigued you. Now read the book you won't be disappointed.

Patches chooses three possible brides from the Swamp but he wasn't prepared for Tegan from Texas to hit him harder than the hurricane headed their way.

This was a great story about Patches and Tegan. They were a fun couple and I love me some Texas slang. I’m enjoying reading what’s happening with the other couples and what is going on in each of their lives. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Tegan fall for Patches and he falls for her. Ethan and Cat have a little disagreement and worked it out. Nitro and Felix is controlling their abilities.
