But when I catch my fiancé screwing one of my bridesmaids an hour before our wedding, I can’t see the bright side.

Humiliated, I run away and rent a cabin in the woods. I just want to be alone.
But fate has other ideas. It turns out the cabin was double booked, and now I’m sharing the place with a broody pro hockey player who is as thrilled about my presence as I am about his.

I agree to leave the next morning, but the worst storm in decades hits the mountain, snowing us in.

Trapped, there’s nothing to do but make the best of the situation—that is if Cody Fairchild will let me. He’s the most infuriating man I’ve ever met… and also the sexiest. Quickly, it becomes clear that there are only two possible outcomes: I’ll smother him in his sleep, or I’ll screw his brains out. The question is, in what order?

I don’t really know what I expected but it was just…not good lol.

I knew going in that it was going to just be a smutty novella but if you’re going to forgo plot for smut it needs to actually be solid smut.

Sunshine (yes that’s her name) and Cody had no natural chemistry. Every interaction felt so forced. I could tell the author really wanted it to be like a “dislike to lovers” but all the little fights barely made any sense.

I also take issue with how some of the NSFW acts were written, if someone tried to copy some of it they’d probably hurt themselves (in a bad way). Stuff that is just common courtesy wasn’t shown or discussed at all.

Very cute, spicy and quick read. I'm not a huge Christmas book reader but this one seemed like it had a good premise. It turned out to be very cute and the spice was off the charts! It's been awhile since I've read a book by Michelle Hercules because I don't ever recall her having bum fun in her f/m books. I know she has some multiples out there but those aren't my cuppa so I haven't read them.

Anyway, I had been in a reading slump lately and this one was a nice little pick me up. Cody was a bit of a grump in the beginning, hence the grump tag, but he was never overly a jerk to Sunshine and when he was he almost immediately apologized. Cody is a very likeable hero and is a very attentive lover at that. ;)

If you want a nice fast, Christmas read, this is the one for you.

Cute short holiday novella. At the 40% mark this turns into a heavy smut book (there is a sex scene with a Christmas light bulb I’m still confused about lol). Around this part we loose some of the plot we had before and then the ending gets very rushed.

Well that was fantastic. I'm not one to write reviews but this one got my heart and deserved it. I loved Sunshine's and Cody's story. It was amazing filled with unpredictable weather, snowed in and a lot of spice. Cody might be an asshole at the beginning but he's definitely a softy, especially for his Sunshine. I loved the whole Christmas vibe and especially the end.

This was a fine and spicy short read, but god was the dialogue so cringe. If a man ever refers to my ass hole as a “peach hole” I would no longer be talking to that man lmao and aside from the fact that they were sexually attracted to eachother it really didn’t feel like Cody actually liked Sunshine (with so much peace and love that name is very dumb) he was very hot and cold with her and it got annoying very fast, especially since this already a pretty short read.

This was such an adorable little palette cleanser between all of the darker things I’ve been reading lately. Cody and Sunshine’s tension and banter was so funny and perfect and I found myself giggling along with them and drooling at some of the spice. What a great Christmas Novella

If you’re looking for a light hearted, sassy, spicy Christmas Novella, this book is for you.
I’m not normally a big Christmas book reader, I saw a video on TikTok and was intrigued. I had read some disappointing books and wanted something light and fun and this book was it!
The FMC Sunshine has her world flipped when she thinks she’s getting married and ends up spending a weekend away to drown her sorrows.
The MMC Cody is an injured hockey player who’s sulking he can’t play and hates Christmas and wants away from his life and crazy ex.
These two do not want to be around anyone let alone each other but snow has other ideas and forced them together.
What can you do when you’re snowed in and there is undeniable chemistry. Enjoy the circumstances.
The book was a great novella, well written, strong and quick storyline without feeling forced and rushed and spicy. Definitely recommend

A jilted runaway bride after catching her cheating fiancee with one of her bridesmaids hides out in a cabin only to wake up to a hockey player hiding away because he hates Christmas in his sisters cabin and well it was a lit Christmas for both of them. Let’s just say I’ll never look at Christmas lights the same 🤣

I enjoyed reading this and I really didn't expect that. Though I love every single book of this author.

The book is based on a bride who finds her groom cheating on her just moments before they get married, with the girl she considered her best friend. So she runs away to an Airbnb to calm herself from everything. But...

But the Airbnb's double booked and now she has to stay with a Hockey player🤫🤫🤫 (IYKYK).

WELL, IT WAS A FUN SHORT READ AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE BOOKS AS THIS.

Well that was fucking adorable. The cheating asshole fiance being named Chad was fitting. The bitch bridesmaid he was cheating with being nicknamed Monicunt made me cackle.
Cody was such a grump but he melted for Sunshine so fast. The way he tried so hard to be aggravated by her but instead turned to goo, was adorable. I think this is the best Christmas Novella I've read this year. 🥰

Cody was the definition of a grump, arrogant, and cocky guy but as he started to get to know Sunshine, he started to feel things for her that makes him want to do more. Sunshine is strong, feisty, and a sweet person. Cody helps bring a new side of her in a sense that warms her heart.

Lowkey wished it had more pages as the storyline could have develop more…

All in all, I enjoyed reading it 😌
