Filled with steam, angst, and emotion, Felix and the Spy is an age gap romance that explores themes of grief, healing, and the mysterious nature of human connection.
Lol, of course I love my own book. Felix and the Spy has been a pleasure to write and I hope you all enjoy it is much as I did. This one's an emotional age gap romance with angst, steam, and grief healing. Dropping 21st September 2023.
I devoured this book. Your words do a lot of magical things to me. And someone bring me some tissues.😭 I absolutely love this book. Felix is such a sweet demon. And Oh Amara, I can't put it on words about how much I love her. They are so perfect together. I'm gonna give this book 5 complete stars 😭💋
Omg the angst and heartache this book made me feel, ugh my heart hurts. Granted it all ended well but omg the pain leading up to the HEA was worth it. This is the last book in the Scions of the Underworld series and it is amazing. This story follows Felix and Amara who were once pen pals turned something more. Their meeting was so funny and would’ve been a meet cute had they been who they thought they were writing to. Being spies, they used different names than their own when corresponding to each other. Once they found out who they were, they stopped writing but that didn’t stop the feelings they were developing when writing their letters. Finally plunging into an affair that spiraled into something they weren’t expecting. Seeing them grow in their relationship and being what the other needed was beautiful. Especially when they have both been wrapped up in grief and have found solace in each other. I loved everything about this and them and when they fell apart because of fear and outside influence, I was crushed. Nevertheless I adored them and this book and can’t wait to read the first two books of this series.
" Love find us at the most unexpected of times and lift us up when we need it the most."

💙I couldn't wait to read this book as soon as I saw it was coming out. It combines my favorite genres, workplace romance- age gap, and the plot was even better than I expected. The author's writing is simply enchanting. She made a couple with great chemistry and 🔥. I loved Felix, he was sweet, shy, protective and passionate at the same time.
💙If you want reasons to read it, Felix and the spy is a sweet novella about loneliness, healing past wounds, family, acceptance and love.
💙Angsty 💙 Emotional 💙Steamy 💙 Enjoyable
Well done to the author 👏 and thank you for the Arc e-copy!!
"Are you a romantic at heart?” “I must be. You need hope to keep you alive in this dreary world.”
This is the fourth and final book in the Scions of the Underworld series. It is an age gap, falling for the boss, epistolary romantasy with two characters we've met in earlier books. However, you can read this as a standalone.
I really enjoyed both of these characters. Amara is true to herself and not afraid to communicate what she needs or how she feels. Felix is more of an enigma, but he is solid and steady.
I really liked the epistolary aspect of this book, especially given that we didn't end up with a "one person knows but the other doesn't".
3.5 rounded up to 4 stars
This is available on KU and a good wrap up to the series.
This is a delightful novella! The story of Amara and Felix has hooked me from the first moment, it has a strong beginning.
It's a very passionate story that is both angsty and heartwarming, as the two are trying to heal past wounds and find their place in the world. Plus he is her boss and she is his subordinate and makes the story much spicier.
As with the previous book I have read by the author (book 3 of this series), she has beautiful writing and there are lovely moments and quotes.
I wanted to like this book more than I actually did. I have a love of epistilaries and this book did not give me enough of that. My other gripes are that the writer couldn't remember what her characters physical appearance, receptive sentences, grammatical errors, using the wrong words, to name a few. Also and maybe most importantly the actions of our characters and their profession were not congruent.
