A Sinful Christmas

Rate this book
Dashing through the…. church… wait, those aren’t the lyrics. But that’s how Sinful K is spending his Christmas holiday… dealing with the church with his woman, Mary. Sinful has gotten used to Mary’s biblical ways, so he’s willing and ready to do anything for his wife. Even if that means being pulled into something he didn’t sign up for. Yet, the Christmas spirit has a way of taking hold of everyone’s heart and making them believe in miracles.

Sinful and Mary embark on a holiday journey together, loving one another and giving love to those in need. Nevertheless, their tale is filled with laughter and life lessons.

This heartfelt couple is back for the holiday season, learning more about one another, and the season of giving.

What a different Christmas read. Sincere “Sinful” has gone to hell and back but is showing us all how one can turn their life around. With the help of his oil carrying, and prayer cloth clutching wife Mary in tow, they are ready to take on the holidays.

Mary “Lamb” loves her Jesus, but her Sincere comes in a close second. She knows her husband is a whole mess, cusses too much, and says whatever he is thinking, but she loves that man! He is a wonderful husband, and father who will do anything for his family. Now Mary, did I think she was over the top at times, yes, but she had a good heart, so we gone let that slide. The first one to sign up to help people in need, or give a helping hand, was Mary.

When the Kennedy family is asked to step in to house some children in need, Sin is like hell naw Lamb! 😂 After some back and forth, he concedes. However, after learning the names of the children, he is spooked and not sure how to move forward. Is this a joke, or is God in the midst? Hmmm…..

I loved how the Kennedy kids took to the three foster kids, and quickly made them family. They all needed each other more than they realized, especially Sincere. I laughed, got teary eyed, and then rejoiced at the end. Although this was far from your typical Christmas read, I really enjoyed it. Good job!

Mary really came into her own in this book, and I loved her for it. She wasn’t taking any mess from anyone, especially not Grandma Mable. That woman stayed trying to guilt-trip her and talk slick about Sincere, and Mary shut it down every single time. She did not play about her husband, and it was refreshing to see her finally stand her ground instead of shrinking herself to keep the peace.

One of my favorite parts was how full circle the story felt. Experiencing Sincere step up for foster kids the same way Wolfe once stepped up for him. It showed real growth and healing. Mary, of course, was right there claiming kids that weren’t biologically hers like she did with Rose, and Sincere followed her lead. What made it even better was that while Mary was busy pouring into everyone else, Sincere never forgot that she needed care too. That is a balanced partnership.

Mary did frustrate me a little when it came to Phoebe. I understood her desire to protect her mom, but at times she was overbearing. Phoebe may be special needs, but she’s still a grown woman with her own feelings and desires. I was proud of Phoebe for finally putting her foot down and telling Mary to stop treating her like a child. Seeing her embrace her relationship with Cliff and assert herself was a big moment. Grandma Mable, on the other hand, continued to be exhausting. Her control issues and bitterness wore thin fast.

I also loved seeing Mary handle Big Dollars, she FRIED him in that bakery LOL.

The ending was such a payoff. Watching their family grow from six to nine was emotional, especially with Sydney. For a 13-year-old to be carrying that much trauma was heartbreaking, and the way his story mirrored Sincere’s made it even more powerful. Taking him and his sisters in just felt right.

This book was about growth, healing, and chosen family. Mary was stronger, Sincere was more grounded, and the family they built felt real. I’m fully invested and ready for book three!

beautiful

I love Sin & Mary’s relationship and family, even mama Mabel because she made Mary who she is. Mama Mabel was sketchy and not fooling anyone. It was wrong to bury Phoebe’s past but I love that she’s finding love. Yes get over it Mary, you and ya oil lol Those 3 new lives that were bought into their lives was so special & I’m glad they could be a blessing to them. They helped bring Sin even more out of his shell & the grinch’s heart grew 7 sizes bigger. They also helped him cope and conquer the pain from his past. Oh and LaLa better make sure she’s really up to par before she gets the prayer cloth, the oil, and Mary’s hands put on her because she loves her Jesus but know that she’s not the one.

The True Meaning Of Christmas Is Love!

Kendra when I tell you I love, love, love this Christmas read. First, thank you for allowing Mary to grow so much. She has so much empathy, love and she's really speaking out. Sincere has also became such a soft man for his family.
For someone of his nature to just come in his feelings showed so much. This read will have you all in your emotions. Your eyes will have wind blowing through them a lot🤗
I see so many children like Sydney. He was wise beyond his years, such a caring young man. I can't wait to see this blended family again🤗🤗 great great read.

DEFINITELY A MUST READ ❤️🔥🔥🔥

I love me some Sinful and Mary. Kendra, I am so glad you brought this family back. Sincere has come a long way, and I love the growth. Mary doesn't play about her husband, her babies, or her momma. Momma Phoebe has a boyfriend(I love it ❤️). That Granny Mable is evil ain't nothing christian about that woman.
I believe Sincer needed those three children to bring him full circle. To see how he was with Sydney was amazing. Those three babies made the family complete. This was a beautiful Christmas story.
S/n: The football game was everything. ❤️🤣

Sincere and His Lil Lamb

I’m so glad to get another book about my favorite couple and their family. When I say I love Mary & Sincere, believe it! Add their children, extended family and friends…absolute hilarity! I can’t get enough of Sincere and his reckless mouth, behavior and hilarious nature. Add Mary and them kids and I’m truly laughing out loud!

This is such a heartfelt and vulnerable look into this family as they continue to love, grow and expand their hearts to include more. Oh, let’s not forget about God being front row and center. 🙌🏽

Well done, Author Kendra Necole.

Sinful K & Mary

These two will probably always be my favorite. I love them and their tribe. They do not play about each other or their family and Mary does not play about her Jesus. This is a story about love and healing. It was beautifully written and done very well. Some parts were very emotional but again, it was very well executed. One thing about Sincere, he is always going to come through with a joke and it’s going to land every time. I highly recommend A Sinful Mind and A Sinful Christmas

A Merry Sinful Christmas

Loved the update on Mary and Sincere. Loved how Mary is still carrying on how she is with the oil and prayer cloth. Got Baby Rose in on the action. That scene of her and her brothers, I laughed hard. Now, those three children who had the same names as Sincere's sisters was their way of communicating to him to open his heart up and love these three kids. It was good to see Mama Phoebe to have love with Cliff. Now, I wish Mary knocked crazy tail Granny Marble out. I'm so happy that they adopted the kids and grew their family.

okay read!

It’s the middle of June and I ran across this read and I was beyond excited to catch up with Sincere and Mary bc I absolutely loved them in “A Sinful Mind”. However this wasn’t it for me it was too much going on for me. I was expecting for the kids having Sin’s sisters names to have some kind of significance in his life. Idk I was expecting more but less if that makes sense. It was a short story but it felt so long. Overall not a bad read but it didn’t give me the Christmas feels I was expecting. I will read a Sinful Summer bc I really do love Sin and Mary ❤️

This book was amazing I laughed sooo much from the cat (then the cat had the nerve to meow 😸) The pie situation and the beat at the bank and the beat down by the tribe at the school . I was having a great laugh. I also love the way everyone supported each other the kids were all selfless and kind to each other. I wish this kid of live and healing for all orphan kids they all deserve love and I’m glad sinful had a lot in common with the young man and many other young black boys in America. Great book

Sin and Lamb strike again

It was good catching up with Sin and Lamb. Four kids later and they’re still going strong. What they did for those kids was admirable and def right up Lamb’s alley. I really wanted Sin to share his sisters’ names with the kids for some reason. If that wasn’t kismet idk what is. Granny Mable was still evil— just terrible. I’m glad Lamb got over the issue with Phoebe and Mr. Cliff too—let them do their kissing lol.

A MUST READ Book!!!

When you brought Sincere back for Christmas, I thought we were going to get more of his craziness. I mean we did get some crazy but but not like in Sinful Mind .. lol .. I LOVE how Sincere still shows his love for Mary 100% to the fullest. Ugghhh I can't stand Lala Coast she irked my nerve each time!! But, the way they loved the kids and made them whole and the ending big this story had me in TEARS!!! This was an AMAZING read!!!!

A must Read Novel

I was super excited to see Sincere Mary and the gang back with this novel. I have come to love how sincere has bloomed with the love of Mary. You can see how their kids and love for family has made their love burn brighter. I did appreciate how Sincere was able to face his demon. The book was filled with laughs, love, and you will shed happy tears. I hope we get to watch the children grow up.

Enjoyed This Story

This was definitely a nice, deep Christmas story. They were able to heal some wounds and bless children along the way. Granny Mable should’ve slipped down them steps smh them the church people you gotta stay away from 😒. Whole time she protecting the monster and poor momma Phoebe thank God for Mary. It had some funny, drama and lots of love. I enjoyed their story

😍 Sincere showing his soft side!

Mary and this prayer cloth 🤣 The kids were very rambunctious but not disrespectful. I loved the foster parent angle. So many children dont have the opportunity to just be children because they are forced to grow up fast. Mama Phoebe is coming into her own personality 🥰 Mary's grandmother is just evil using the Bible to justify what she's doing. She expects respect but won't give it smh

This was a great Christmas Read. Of course Sincere kept me laughing throughout the whole book. The way he loved on his lamb and his family was nothing but pure joy. Mary is such a sweetheart but don't get on her bad side lol because you will definitely get a different side of her. I enjoyed catching up with the family and you did not disappoint. Great Job

Humor

God has a great sense of humor, providing three children with exact names of Sinful deceased siblings. Bonding with family is what the holiday is about time spent providing love and support for those we care deeply for.

loved it

Mary and Sinful are a match made in heaven. The way they love on each other and their family is priceless. Sinful’s mouth is still reckless . I love how he puts that grandmother in her place and I knew she was shady. Mary is so sweet.
I like how more kids were added and their names just made it so much more interesting to the story.
Great book.

Sincere & Mary

Hands down the funniest, special, and loving book I've read lately. Sincere grew as a person here and I loved to see it. It was beautiful to see the names of his sisters in this book as three orphaned kids. It was so great to see the family again, now we need a wedding one with Mama Phoebe & Cliff 💛💛

A SINFUL CHRISTMAS 💯

Thank you Ms. Kendra for this Christmas journey of Sincere and Mary. I LOVED this story with all the children (coincidence the 3 additions are the names of Sincere's siblings) and mama Phoebe and the bitter grandma Mable. Laughter, Love, Holy Oil and Praying Cloth.

I love it!!!

I enjoyed hearing from this beautiful, funny couple.
I love Sin & Mary’s relationship so much and can read more books about them. I hope we get some books about the kids ( hint hint). Granny Mabel is really crazy and full of ugliness. I love how Sincere has grown into a great family man.

Christmas like no other

I’m so happy to have found your body of work during the readers appreciation week. Sinful and Mary’s characters resonate within me. I’m so happy they were able to connect and help Sydney, Sasha, and Sana. Talk about divine intervention. Another great read. Keep them coming 🤩
