Mountain Man Bear Willis has faced many dangerous situations. But this might be his riskiest yet!
In “Bear Mountain Man and the Earl,” Bear Willis, an experienced and hardened Mountain Man, and Lord Edmund Thornton, an English Earl, find themselves in an unlikely partnership when the Earl’s son, Eddie, is kidnapped by the notorious outlaw Juan Costas.
As tensions escalate, Costas adds another layer of cruelty by kidnapping Lady Catherine and Bear’s wife, Waity, and threatening to cut off a finger if Bear and the Earl refuse to pay the ransom.
With time running out, Bear and Eric must traverse treacherous terrains and face perilous threats to rescue their kidnapped family members. As they embark on a heart-pounding adventure, Bear and Eric push themselves to the limits of their physical and emotional endurance, leading to a thrilling climax that will determine the fate of their loved ones.
Combining the American frontier’s untamed spirit with the unbreakable family ties, “Bear Mountain Man and the Earl” is an action-packed adventure that will leave readers on the edge of their seats!
Writing has always been a lifelong dream. Finally, at 71 years young, that dream became a reality. I am honored to be part of Dusty Saddles Publishing, the leading publisher of Western Novels. Currently, I have several Western Series on Amazon: Chet Henderson: Texas Ranger Adventure Series, Bear Willis: Mountain Man Series, and Willie McGee: Mountain Man Series. Along with a co-write with my granddaughter.
In creating my Westerns, I wanted to do three things, be authentic, create likable characters, and tell a good story. With a lot of hard work and prayer, my books have been well received, so, I must be doing something right.
I live with my wife of fifty-three years and our cat Moxie on Rattlesnake Ridge. We are lucky that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandson all live close by. When I'm not writing, I enjoy woodcarving, fishing, and pampering my classic Jaguar.
I donate a portion of the profits from my books to Veteran charities, including the Veteran’s Independence Project.
