This story was so funny, and I love Eva's creative and colourful choice of words throughout the story.
We met Alyssa last time when she battled it out with her bestie Juniper in order to defeat Ran but ended up in Silver Springs penitentiary with no other than Ram him self. But this time, it's Alyssa who will have to save her bestie plus close random portals that have been turning up all over silver springs.
I loved her fiesty character and thought she was so funny, especially how she has a voice that likes to talk to her a lot of the time dirty. I loved how she could definitely defend herself with magic or no magic and has a heart of gold under that tough exterior.
I especially loved Beverly The little Bever who accidently gets stuck in prison but luckily Alyssa is there to take care of her along with Jag, Elliot and Moe who have unusual talents that I found so funny and I loved there characters especially Moe who's like a wound up puppy and so adorable and wound make great friends with Bob and Rob.
I loved how I never knew what was going to happen and that magical Chaos that seemed to keep happening, especially when she found fated mates and had to work with her arch enemy Ram
I loved seeing new characters introduced along with Minnie and Sargent Tiptoe and some guest appearance from Evanora, who you don't want to get on her bad side.
And that ending was sad but so sweet that I hope things turn out ok and that we get to see more of Ram in the future. Along with Aylssa and her Mates.

Oh my wood! I love this book so much! I laughed. I cried. I splooshed. Beaver is a hilarious, fantasy, reverse harem romance with a ton of fast-paced action, quirky characters and a bit of steam. There's four men, one woman, and her beaver doing all kinds of things, including evading "special" rain, breaking out of supernatural prison, playing with magical music instruments, rescuing people from portals, and taking on a villain or three.
I especially like seeing a couple of villains become heroes. I also enjoyed seeing villains from previous Silver Springs books behind bars. Eva Delaney leaves no one behind! There's a lot of cameos with her other FMCs and some of the others in this series.
Tropey goodness includes some enemies to lovers elements, as well as a second chance romance, forced proximity, and a dash of mystery.
I think having Alyssa Beaver as the main character is a stroke of genius. She's a much more serious person than any other of Eva's other Silver Springs books. I love the juxtaposition of Alyssa's seriousness with the crazy portal worlds, the random obstacles, and the ridiculously funny situations. While this book doesn't end on a cliffhanger, there is potential for more Alyssa and her group to keep playing together.
I'm excited to see what happens next with these characters. Will JEM release more recordings? Will the beaver be back? Will Ram keep on the straight and narrow?

I loved reading Beaver, it is the 2nd book in the Silver Springs Pets series. I found it to be funny, Quirky, extremely entertaining and it pulled me in like a Portal pulls one into a hidden world.
Alyssa is a Dark Magic user that was always misunderstood because she was a dark magic user, always being ridiculed because of her dark powers. But one can always turn dark magic into good with the proper training. That is what Alyssa does While she was imprisoned for doing things that were not very good... Plus there is a Beaver named Beverly that was also in prison. A beaver you ask... Why a Beaver.. Hmm that is a good question to find the answers why a beaver named Beverly was in Prison you need to read about how it happened.
My favorite characters are Alyssa, Moe, Jag, Elliot and Ram Oh and Minnie makes an appearance because Silver Springs is a Magical community for all kinds of supes.
Moe, Jag and Elliott are all three interesting.. and play quite the unique instruments that you could ever imagine.
Ram was bad but he is turning things around and helping those with Dark Magic that do not understand how to use their powers. He has his redeeming qualities and I'm hoping that he gets his story one day.
So, if you love Quirky Heroines, Interesting Musicians, and cute adorable Beavers then this book is definitely for you.

We actually meet the FMC, Alyssa in Minnie's book and even I was intrigued by here. I admit it's been a while since I read some of the earlier SS books so I can't fully remember fully if we have met her before, though I think we have cause of the mentions of Juniper and Ramrod. But the brief meeting we had with her in Minnie made me quite intrigued to get to know her more in this book.
Alyssa's only friend in the penitentuary is a beaver called Beverly, and by that I mean an actual beaver, not just a shifter. Having said that she has plenty of enemies. I will say the first chapter alone will have you laughing out loud. There lots of mentions of a sticky, white substance which left me cackling.
Alyssa wants out, she wants to free Beverley and then there's the three men she ends up meeting who shouldn't even be there. We also get a lot of Ramrod and he's a total a$$ from the get go.
If you like cameo's then there are a lot of them in this story, including Minnie and her little furry companion Tiptoe and many more from the previous books in the series.

This is a very funny, entertaining reverse harem fantasy which has not only quirky but at times characters with paranormal traits even I could never imagine.
Alyssa finds herself in supernatural prison after getting her ex, Ramrod, put away as well. She and Ramrod have an enemies to maybe future lovers and their story continues throughout the book leading to some redemption and perhaps second chances for both.
Alyssa’s “pet/special friend” Beaver is also in the prison and she works hard to make her comfortable with her own pool and sticks etc. Her goal is to get her free and to a river or stream.
The story deals with crazy situations and eventual breakout with several prison members including her beaver. The breakout reveals to Alyssa that there are mating bonds between herself and several of the prison inmates. They have interesting “powers” and abilities which they use to form a musical group and just read the book because it is way to crazy to explain.
There is a cliffhanger ending but many questions and relationships are resolved. This second book in the series is hilarious, entertaining and is best read after book one. Enjoy.

Caution -- If you aren't a fan of crude humor or discussions of sex/sexually adjacent subjects this book is NOT for you.
If, on the other hand, you can appreciate a good cucumber joke then hold on to your hats!
Alyssa is hellbent on protecting her compatriot in prison -- a beaver named Beverly and she will use all the tools at her disposal -- whether it's her wits or humor to do so!
I alternated between laughing and wanting to cry the entire time I read the book. The characters are so vibrant and, at times, nonsensical but overall the vibe of the book is fun and exciting. While this book is technically a stand-alone if you want to truly enjoy it you will need to have read the other Silver Springs books so you have the proper context and understand the characters' histories.
One especially great thing about this author is she gives you just enough detail to roughly outline the characters and environment but allows enough imagination that you can easily create your own mental pictures of scenes.
The one negative is the negativity of Alyssa especially about herself and others. Overall a great read!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BEAVER" OMG!!! What a phenominal funny magical paranormal romance, full of frustration, intrigue, angst, steamy scenes, weird magic, action, augh out loud moments, it was one quirky hilarious rollercoaster ride a page turner to the end.
Alyssa is trying to protect a BEAVER named Beverly in the Supernatural prison she's innocent & she'll do whatever it takes to get her out of there with the help of inmates Moe, Jag, Elliott & of course her ex Ram who she put there in the first place, these characters are so interesting, entertaining.
Alyssa is a dark magic user but it can be used for good, but she was locked up in the prison for some things that weren't so good, crazy stuff like portals opening, Fated Mates, chaos, silly antics, have you laughing so hard you can't stop.
I definitely recommend to get this phenominally well written hilarious story you just can't put down with awesome characters that pull you right into all the dark twisted drama, I absolutely loved Alyssa her mates Moe, Jag & Elliott even her ex Ram was interesting enough to get his own story.

Alyssa is trying to help Beaver escape the Supe Prison, why you ask because Beaver is a real beaver. Not a shifter beaver and as such needs to be by a water, with trees and able to build her lodge along with being able to forge for her food such as bark, twigs and leaves of various trees. Why is Alyssa in prison? She took the blame to save Juniper. There in the prison through a serious of incidents Alyssa meets her fated mates in Jag, Elliot and Moe, and in the same prison is Ram her ex-boyfriend. The hilarious inter-dialogue that Alyssa has with herself, along with the problems escaping the prison, to finding out that Juniper and the world Alyssa built to save dark magic users like herself is failing. The mishaps and they way they figure out how to get out of them, keeps you on your toes. Oh and I am not going to tell you, however, you have to see how Jag, Elliot and Moe make the most beautiful music. If you don't crack up laughing you have no funny bone.

With the beginning, of course - this opening line is a sharp competition to another in the universe - the one from Juniper. I've come to expect the unexpected and I love the ride.
Alyssa is trying to break a beaver out of prison, while her ex is trying to get himself out. Mix in 3 unexpected mates - and the conniving ex, Ram, and this is more than an interesting mix. And don't get me started on the musical abilities of Jag, Elliot, and Moe. Oh, I want to cuddle Moe and protect him from the big b@d world LOL He is adorable!
This is a part of the Multiple Author, Shared World of Silver Springs. It can be read as a stand-alone and has a HEA. I do recommend reading the series in order though, for the ultimate experience of the cameos throughout ALL the books.
There is room for more stories to come from Alyssa Beaver and her gang of misfit men.
I highly recommend this to fans of RomCom. Don't drink while reading.

So, this book is the second in a new spin-off series based in the Silver Springs universe.
Beaver was not what I had expected. But, then again, it wouldn't be an Eva Delaney book if it did not involve ridiculous situations -- I mean, in the first chapter alone we are introduced to "magical rain" and oh my gosh the total irreverentness of it had me in stitches.
I liked getting to know more about Alyssa, and her misfortunes with her powers. This book is fun, really unserious, but also really just what I need right now.
I also really liked the growing dynamics between her and the men she gets close to. They each have something so unique and there's something so likeable about them, even Ram. Yes, yes, without spoiling anything, who doesn't like a redeemable villain?
Again, nice to see some familiar characters from previous books.

E.d. Have written such Amazing books i loved her book beaver . I love following alyssa in her journey and i loved to read her growth as a character…. I just really love the Way this author write… all the books she write is always soo good and always keeps me on my toes… the Way she write is soo intresting.. i have loved all the books i have read by her… i love alyssas story and i love watching her realstionship with the guys grow stronger and stronger…. I really loved the story and the characters… i loved that we Got introduced to new characters… this is a really intresting story.. i´m so exicted to read the second and contuine the jouney with these character

I adored this book. It was HILARIOUS and so unhinged and is one of my favorite reads so far this year and one of my favorites in the Library. As a big Silver Springs Library fan, I thought I'd seen it all in terms of our hero's abilities but there is nothing that could've prepared me for these men and their powers. 10/10 for creativity alone. I literally screamed I laughed so hard. But it also had some really sweet moments, like "'I look forward to falling for you over and over again as I get to know you.'" Honestly, you gotta read it to understand the pure joy this brings. Definitely one of the books I will talking and thinking about for months/years to come. I don't think I will ever be the same.

This book was great and not just because the FMC has my name haha! I loved this book I was always hoping Alyssa would get her book and boy did it not disappoint 💙
I loved her crew of mates Moe is adorable, Jag is awesome, and I absolutely love Elliott plus their attributes are pretty amazing 😆(I also loved that Ram got some redemption as well) overall the plot was fast paced and a definite page turner. The only caveat is that I wish there had been more interactions with Ram after Alyssa was released. It definitely feels like there could be another whole story written about the whole crew and how they come together as a cohesive harem of 5 ❤️ This was another fantastic addition to the Silver Springs series!!

This is book 2 in the muti author series Silver Springs Pets and is a great addition to this series. I adore this book! A well written paranormal, reverse harem romance read that is sure to captivate and delight. Totally addictive with a smooth flowing storyline that is sweet, steamy and full of humor! Alyssa is our main character and she's not always been the nicest but is given redemption with this read. I can't say much as I don't want to give it away. I love the new shifters we're introduced to in this read as well as the action and oh my stars the puns! Delaney doesn't disappoint and I can't wait for more! Definitely a must read - totally recommend!

Beaver is a fun read. The opening pages of this story tell you right away how crazy it's all going to be! Definitely not a disappointment for an opening. Alyssa is in prison, being a dark witch, she hasn't always made the best choices, but she's done a bit of good too.
Portals are opening where they shouldn't and some really weird things are going on. Can Alyssa and her new 'friends' figure it all out and how to save many people in time? Can time heal old wounds? HOW does a REAL beaver end up in prison?? So many questions, so many pages to find the answers.
You will laugh, you will have eye issues because man people like to slice onions around her! Happy reading, such a FUN rom com for the lover of paranormal.

Beaver is about Juniper’s frenemy, Alyssa, who finds her fated mates after escaping from prison with them and Beverly the beaver.
After that she tries to save the people living in a bubble extension that she created after the artifact that was holding together is stolen.
Alyssa is a sassy FMC who has been trying to turn her life around, and this is seen the most with her relationship with Moe, Jag, and Elliot as she tries to comfort and encourage them. Her relationship with Ram was more complicated because of their history, but I’m glad things are looking up for them by the end.
The only thing I will say is that the book features small spoilers for Minnie 2.0 which isn’t out yet, but I wouldn’t let that stop you from reading it.

Her relationship with Ram was more complicated because of their history, but I’m glad things are looking up for them by the end.
The only thing I will say is that the book features small spoilers for Minnie 2.0 which isn’t out yet, but I wouldn’t let that stop you from reading it.

We have already met Alyssa in the Juniper books and she also had a Cameo in Minnie. She is serving time in prison and feels she deserves it to make up for her past deeds. She is blackmailed into breaking out by her ex boyfriend, taking him, 3 new men she has just met and Beverley an actual Beaver with her.
This is a typical Eva Delaney book. Full of innuendo, humour and absolute chaos but actually follows a well thought out and interesting storyline. I don't know where the author gets the ideas for these characters, i have never read anything like it but because it is Silver Springs it works. There was one scene toward the end between Alyssa and Ram that broke my heart, so glad Alyssa and her mates get their HEA

A funny and magical story where even the bad guys can change their way. We have met Alyssa in previous books and she hasn’t always been a nice person. But time in prison can change a person and make them rethink their ways. But when some weird magic starts happening, being locked up isn’t helping anyone. Can she escape to save those she cares about? Oh don’t forget the new men she seems to have found. Will they help or just make it worse? The story is really sweet and I love how we get to see things from her perspective. The beaver just adds more humor as she is just a beaver serving her time in jail.

Alyssa knows this is no shifter and has been looking out for the creature, but the job is getting more difficult after a couple of run-ins with her ex, Ram.

This is the second book in a new Silver Springs series and I found it to be funny, quirky, extremely entertaining :) This story is about Alyssa, her cell mate Beverly, an actual beaver, and her mates Moe, Jag and Elliot. She is determined to protect Beverly and will use any means at her disposal to do so. Expect the humour to really kick in for some of this ;P This story was just so entertaining and had me laughing throughout. The pacing and world building was phenomenal and I loved the characters. Of course, the plot had me glued to my reader so be warned - you won't want to put it down ;D

I LOVE seeing the Silver Springs universe continuing to expand in 2023, especially when we get to see past characters make a resurgence and get their own book, which is just the icing on the cake! Alyssa, who we met in Juniper's book, is not only trying to help a beaver escape a supernatural prison, yes, a full blooded beaver, but she is also dealing with her ex and three other men who all make her blood boil, in a good way and not. The antics continue in this fun read with lots of laughs and heated moments, even outside of the prison! These books always make me feel so lighthearted, so I cannot wait to see what is next for this world.

Completely Bonkers but absolutely brilliant!!
I literally laughed all the way through this book! with all the Beaver jokes and musical body parts (it's making me giggle just remember whilst writing this review lol). Alyssa (FMC) is a dark witch that's serving time pretty much for a friend but gets drawn into an escape plan that doesn't go quite the way it should. Weird portals, different worlds, 3 musical guys - Moe, Jag and Elliot and one Ex - Ram that Alyssa has a difficult past with. All of which goes together to make for a cracking caper of a read. I loved this book big time!!

Alyssa and her men are stuck in their magical prison, not knowing they are fated until they break out of the magic-free zone. From their the hilarity and quirkiness, the gang are so all over the place, it's a wonder they achieve anything at all, let alone manage to save Silver Springs from the cursed portals. This book is so full of laughs and humour, it had me laughing out loud on many occasions. I loved the fierceness of Alyssa as she tries to protect everyone and fight the baddies, and the special musicianship that her mates display is so out of this world! An enjoyable read.

Oh this book was soo much fun to read. Eva has a way with puns and this book has some great ones. We met Alyssa in Junipers book and now she is about to get her own set of mates. After breaking out of prison her and her mates ate attempting to fix the mess that is happening in Silver Spings. Of course things are never easy and what transpires is a wild and crazy ride. I loved the new shifters in this book. Great characters and plot. Some very interesting and steamy scenes as well.

OMG, this book was so funny and kept me reading until the end. There was no putting it down once I started. It moves along at a pace that works perfect for this story speeding up and slowing down as needed. Has interesting characters each with their own unique quirks and personality that no matter what happens you will fall in love with and a story that will not disappoint and keep you reading until the end. This book is a must read, no doubt about it.

I enjoyed Beaver and I am really hoping to see another book featuring these interesting characters. I won't spoil it for anyone but I absolutely love how Eva Delaney has given two previous villains a chance to be less villainous and a start on a second chance for their HEA all while giving Alyssa others to love and protect. Just gotta say we all need a Moe in our lives. Thanks for another awesome book in the Silver Springs world.

Beaver...what more needs to be said.😂 oh wait dicstruments.. yup in Silver springs nothing is off limits. This book is definitely plot driven.. super low on the spice.. very low, however that did not take away from the amazing story.. this is Alyssia from Junipers story and she finally gets her HEA. Bad girl turned good(ish) .. with fated mates, portals and a beaver.. so their antics will keep you laughing definitely a feel good clean (ish) romance.

I so enjoyed Beaver! It was action packed and hilarious. I don’t want to give away spoilers but I will say that some characters have unique traits and I love them. And I also really love the way alcoholism is addressed, portrayed, and dealt with in this book. Not to mention the way Alyssa deals with her relationship with her ex. So while this book is fun and funny it also has those serious undertones which I appreciate.
