Oh my goodness. This book was so good. I literally could not put it down! I said in another review that each book gets better than the last. I can't imagine what the next one will bring.
Equality - book 6 I would have given this book 3 stars right up until the end when it covered a topic near to my heart: forgiveness. However, my reason for 3 stars is because of the inconsistencies between books. In the beginning of this book Sam is mentioned as Erica's, intead of Kelly's love interest. Thankfully that switched to the right person. Twice in this book the rules are mentioned as from his mother. Yet in other books it was his father that taught it to him after his mother left. Which is it? I've mentioned inconsistencies between books in reviews for the other books in the series. The last book was, for me, hard to read from an emotional standpoint. This one was also difficult. Especially Kelly's side. I do not understand why Viceroy allowed people who have seen him, to live. That seemed to go against his character. Nadine's turn -around was good to see, but I did not understand why someone supposedly so good at what she does would not have built in a self-destruct onto her computer in case what happened, happens. Edwyn's change is also good. Onto book 7.
Nadine didn't believe that anyone found her and equal to the male counterparts she had worked with
Edwyn felt he had protected Nadine those years ago but after being reunited with her he felt maybe he hadn't. It doesn't take long for Nadine to get in over her head and realize she needs Edwyn and has a hard time accepting that. This series deals with some deep stuff and I love how the author has used each book to emphasize God's outlook foe the good. Evil is evil and will always have its place until Christ comes again yet God's army is greater and stronger and He treats everyone equally who loves him.
Wow this series is really getting to be a nail biter. Just when you think that things are calming down on the ranch the bad guys appear again and really cause trouble. Edwyn is the next guy to try and find redemption after a relationship went bad. While in the military he had a relationship with a fellow officer and thinking he was doing the right think reported it and asked for transfers. Major backfire for Nadine! Now she is the at the ranch using her wicked computer skills to help with security. She ends up opening a can a worms and things get interesting.
This series is full of intrigue, suspense and romance. It shows a little of the dark side of human trafficking. Each book builds on the previous book. I've enjoyed getting to know the characters and loved Edwyn and Nadine's story. It's been great seeing all these men confront their biggest regret and find their HEA. I can't wait to read the next book.
This was a nail biter, for me. Going to the belly of the beast and coming out the other side - and they trusted and thanked the Lord for the rescue. Growth for more than the primary 2 characters in this one of the series. While it can be read as a stand-alone, it’s better to start from the beginning.
Communication is the key in so many situations. A thought blooms but has to come from a root and in this instance Edwyn held out on Connor and Nadine and the ladies did too. But as we say here, 'story come to bump' and the bottom falls out. Glad they finally got some reprieve from the antagonist.
A thrilling book of danger as Edwyn and Nadine are brought together for a chance to face their past relationship. Nadine is a security specialist who is brought in to work as part of the security team. After learning of a particular danger to the ranch, she decides to be proactive in locating the suspect. What will happen when her plan backfires?
This is yet another amazing book continuing the story of everyone at the Wayside Ranch. The new characters brought a lot of new and interesting interactions. And what a great example of no matter how hard it is, we must always forgive.
This is a series that I know I will come back to read again because it is so real regarding dealing with life!
I don’t know, it was a little far fetched. Super hero fantasy story. I like things a little more real. But Nadine and Edwyn made a great couple and I was happy for the ending.
