Veiled Shadows: Kerrigan's Redemption

Rate this book
In a shattered world veiled in darkness, where hope teeters on the precipice of despair, what wouldn't a father sacrifice to reclaim the stolen heartbeat of his life?

Veiled Kerrigan's Redemption delves into a universe blackened by devastation. John Kerrigan, once resilient in the face of adversity, now finds himself grappling with unimaginable torment. The malevolent Vorn, not just a gang leader but a specter from John's own past, has ensnared his beloved daughter. Vorn's ruthless marauding leaves scars not only on the land but etches pain into the very soul of humanity.

As if the anguish of his lost daughter wasn't enough, an even darker menace looms. The architects of the EMP attack, sinister puppeteers with a chilling vision of a new world, finally step out from the shadows. And amidst this chaos, the Emporium—a haven John once deemed safe—begins to crumble from within, its unity threatened and the life of a young boy he vowed to shield hanging precariously in the balance.

Yet, in this enveloping darkness, the indomitable bond between a father and his daughter shines as a testament to love's enduring luminance. Their story stands as a beacon, inspiring all to remember that even in the bleakest moments, the human heart's capacity to love and hope remains undimmed.

Plunge into a tale awash with suspense, heart-wrenching sacrifice, and profound emotional depths. In a world overshadowed by sorrow, who will ignite the spark, leading humanity back towards the embrace of light?

Not an easy read, but then survival is far from easy.

This is the third book in the series and if you enjoy realistic post-apocalypse adventures you will continue to enjoy this. With every step forward, there appear to be two steps backwards. Our protagonist, John Kerrigan survives against all odds, which is more than can be said for many of the characters we meet, but will he be reunited with his daughter? In Kerrigan’s Redemption, we learn more about why society has collapsed and who is responsible, but the future is still bleak for those trying to survive. Not an easy read, but then survival is far from easy.

Another great read on this continuing story based on John Kerrigan finally reuniting with his daughter Emily only to have it taken away again by another monster. This is one of those stories that keeps evolving and you can’t stop reading because you’re hoping life will change for the better.

Good read

Good read but a bit wordy for me. Too much description when something could be described simply. Ill finish the series as I've gotten into the charscters.
