This is a fantastic collection of lesser-known stories from famous and classic writers-- most of them from the Golden Age of SciFi. It's bright, interesting, weird, amazing, and full of that idea that we can go there, we can do anything. It's what I think of when I think of SciFi.

A very good collection covering 1950s-1990s, including many of my favourite authors, especially during the 80s and 90s. One story is from Interzone magazine from back when it was great. Obviously one of the Arthur C Clarke stories was from Playboy.
