Beautiful Story About Family and Nature
I really enjoyed how the book mixes family moments, nature, and taking care of animals. Watching the chicks grow up was adorable. The author’s love for chickens really shows, and it made me want to learn more about raising my own someday. Allie the cat was a fun extra detail too!

Bawk Bawk in the Backyard is such an adorable children’s book, not to mention it's a true backyard chicken story. It encapsulates the importance of being family-oriented and also the love for animals!

Some of my favorite memories were made while raising chickens with my husband and children in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I've written this story with these memories in mind, and to make sure everyone knows just how fun the process can be!
