Rate this book
What does it really mean to be a good leader? We’ve all heard the experts talk about leadership qualities like empathy, vision, and open-mindedness. But what does that really mean? What does that look like in the real world? From BLAH to BADASS is a no-nonsense look at what makes a good (and horrible) leader from someone who has observed and experienced a full spectrum of managers, supervisors, and executives for over twenty years in the corporate world. The lessons within come from a place of honesty, transparency, and a passion for cutting through the bull and just being real.If you have ever worked for an epic jerk or authoritarian manager; if you have ever wondered why there are so many bad leaders running companies; if you think you’d someday like to climb the corporate ladder but thought, “Ugh, I don’t want to be like the people already at the top,” then this is the book for you. From BLAH to BADASS is a book of eight lessons about good leadership from someone who has been there. Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level in an authentic way?

Easy Read for Excellent Coaching!

This is NOT a typical "self-help"/corporate leadership book; many of those high-ego, superficial cheerleading moments that get you in the mood to conquer.

This is a book about leadership through empathy & accountability. It teaches you that people will respect you when you earn it, not when you intimidate them; and you learn that earning it sometimes means showing your faults...And owning them.

If I had more bosses that behaved this way, I might find going to work enjoyable, not - as the famous crooner Sting sang - " a humiliating kick in the crotch".
