As she faces decisions about college, marriage, and whether or not to serve a mission of the Mormon Church, Kate recognizes the need to get on with her life.
Life has many Choices This is the 3rd book of the Kate's Turn series. From the first page of the book the story just keeps going. In this book, Forever Kate, Kate has grown into a very mature young woman. But just as she thinks she has life under control, many hard decisions were going to have to be made by Kate. Her old boyfriend, Randy, had served an LDS mission. When he got home from his mission Randy and Kate started talking again and soon were dating. Shortly after Kate and Randy were engaged. This was up until Randy saw a girl he had met on his mission. Kate knew he had more feelings for this other girl than for herself so she took off the ring and said,"Give it to her!" This was a huge decision that would change her life forever. She remembered her old boyfriend, Mike, but just as she thought of him, she got a letter from him saying, "he was getting married in 8 months." Kate didn't know what to do with herself. She was so sad. She thought of something that might help her get out of her sadness was to serve an LDS mission. This gave her peace. I really liked this book, because life is FULL of many choices that we have to make everyday. Just like in all the other Kate's Turn books, it is so real life. People should read this book. I totally recommend it! I recommend it to girls and their moms. Other girls would enjoy reading this book because it might be the same as what is happening in their own life. It kept my attention the whole book. I gave this book a 5/5 star rating because I thought it was such a good book, and again seemed so real life! There are so many books that have decisions in them, but I would compare this book to ''Kate The Future Queen.'' This book is about Kate Middleton and her life. Kate Middleton, made so many decisions. What college she should go to, if she should marry Prince Williams and all of the responsibilities of marrying him. This book just reminded me of making hard decisions. At the end of this book, Kate Erickson found out that the marriage between Mike and the girl he had met, didn't work. Again Kate and Mike started dating and one date in particular Mike took her to the lake. Before she knew what was going on, Mike was on his knee with a diamond ring sparkling in the sun. The one word that would change her life forever, ''Yes"! I loved reading this book! This is a book that should be read, and I guarantee you will like it!
This one I felt like there was just to much drama. I felt like the whole story was just: (Oh no!! Now who is she going to marry??) And: (I've had about three proposals already, but all those guys found out they liked someone else three weeks before our wedding, so they broke up with me.) Other than that, I just felt like things that sould've been a big part of the story, just weren't. Like the fact that her little sister was being given drugs... Yeah, that took up about a chapter of the book. I mean, by the time you finish it, you almost forget that it happened!! Other than those problems, the book was pretty good! It was my second favorite in the series.
This is Mormon drama at its best. As a Mormon even I had a difficult time stomaching this one. Sorry...I can’t handle THAT much boy/girl BYU drama. Gag.
I understand engagements get called off in real life, but it was SO sad!! Made me mad and emotional at the silly fictional book. The first in the series was definitely the best book and they've gone down hill since then. While at the same time, it's nice to be able to follow-up with Kate's character to find out what happens in her life. It's a quick read - not bad, not great.
It was awesome. I felt the pain that Kate went to when Randy broke off the engagement, when Jace showed up and took Sabrina, and when Mike tolc her that he was engaged, not engaged, and when Reena kissed him. I felt so sad, terrified, and happy for her that I could not put it down.
This was a cute series, a fun look at how a rebellious teenager can turn their life around. Ms. Cranes writing definately matured between teh 1st and 3rd books.
My favorite book of the series. I did get a little bored in some parts of her mission, but I love how her and her old high school boyfriend end up together
This book follows Kate to college and on a mission. It also contains interesting family history anecdotes that are somewhat similar to a real family's history. This is the third novel in the series.
